The Coder School Update
Check out the amazing things our sponsor The Coder School is offering this Fall!

They will be holding an Open House at the McLean location on Saturday, September 10 from 2-4pm with free give aways and coding! The Coder School offers popular coding and robotics classes and as well as digital art classes with coding. And for McLean Youth Soccer members, a 15% discount off 2:1 code classes for the 2022 to 2023 school year. 

An upcoming event The Coder School has helped organize and underwrite is a fundraising concert featuring They Might be Giants for the Arc of Loudoun. It will be a really fun Halloween event for parents - check out the details HERE!

The Coder School is also big sponsors of the Congregational APP Challenge and they help their students develop Apps for this really great program which speak to their commitment to quality. More information can be found HERE.
Recreation Skills Fall Training -
Registration Open
U6-U8 Fall Clinic - This once a week clinic is coached by the MYS professional staff. All sessions will feature a combination of skills, drills, and game play.

U9-U14 Sessions - Skills training sessions for an opportunity to receive additional training from the MYS professional technical staff. The curriculum consists of age-appropriate fun activities for players to get more touches on the ball and ultimately feel better with the ball at their feet.
Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
This Sunday, September 4th is Childhood Cancer Awareness Night at Loudoun United, with $5 from each ticket sale being donated to PREP4Gold and collaborating organization Team Mathias. 

Jonathan Agin, MYS member and PREP4Gold founder, lost his first born Alexis to terminal brain cancer in January 2011. Jonathan has devoted himself to the fight against childhood cancer and has been able to use his love of soccer to raise money for research and family support. The Washington Spirit invites you to participate in a fundraising challenge, with all donations going directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and their efforts to help children across the globe. Each team will be fundraising as a part of the St. Jude Walk/Run 5k on October 1st at Audi Field and will receive a video from a Spirit player cheering them on and acting as their Team Captain. The winning team will be invited to the October 1st game and will get to meet their Team Captain. People are able to participate from anywhere with the mobile app.

MYS Club Nights at Audi Field
MYS membership has TWO opportunities this fall for a club night at Audi Field! The first is on 9/17 watching the Washington Spirit take on Gotham FC! And the second is on 10/9 watching D.C. United take on FC Cincinnati.

Pizza Promotion @ Lost Dog


The Lost Dog Cafe location in McLean is offering $5, one topping pizzas (eat in, carry out or delivery) for McLean Youth Soccer families on Thursday, September 8th. Parents and/or players will need to submit proof of membership in MYS such as players wearing uniforms or confirmation of registration in one of our programs.
