The Ambriola Company, Inc. has initiated a voluntary withdrawal of certain Locatelli grated cheese products converted at the West Caldwell, NJ facility, as well as Boar’s Head Brand Pecorino Romano Cheese, due to a potential food safety concern. Routine testing indicated the possible presence of Listeria in specific lots. While no confirmed illnesses have been reported, this precautionary measure is being taken to ensure consumer safety.
