Stellantis Gets Behind the Dealer Body with a Renewed Focus on Sales, Service and Parts Support

Stellantis is adding more than 200 new positions to strengthen its sales, service, and parts field teams, reversing workforce cuts made under former CEO Carlos Tavares. The move is intended to provide stronger support for U.S. dealerships, with additional roles such as technical advisers and area sales managers - filled by the end of Q1 2026.

Darren Bradshaw, senior vice president of parts and services for Stellantis North America, told Automotive News in an interview that the goal is to reduce the workload so that each field manager oversees roughly 10 dealerships,

compared with the current average of about 20. On the sales side, the current staff-to-dealer ratio is around 15 to 1. The optimism around this latest announcement comes on the heels of good sales news, as Stellantis’ U.S. sales climbed 6.2% in the third quarter, breaking an eight-quarter decline. Jeep sales rose 11% and Chrysler surged 45%, though RAM slipped 4.8%...Read the complete article on the Automotive News website.

When Recalls Impact A Dealer's Largest Customer - Fleet Operators

Fleet Management Weekly Features Chris Miller, Founder and Chairman of Recall Masters

FMW: Tell me about Recall Masters. What do you do and why does it matter to fleets?

Chris Miller: Recall Masters was founded with a vision of making the road safer. We’ve built specialized software across all 46 brands sold in the US that aggregates all the recall information into one place. We then standardize the way we communicate

In this way, fleets can go to one place to get a report of every vehicle in their fleet. They can find out which vehicles have open recalls, as well as which ones have a remedy and parts available for repair. They can even categorize those recalls based on the type and rank of each risk, prioritizing them according to repair difficulty...Read the complete article on Fleet Management Weekly.
