Out with the old…In with the new!
We are excited to share a 2023 recap and exciting forecast for 2024:
2023 Highlights: We added 29 new chamber partners, awarded over $2000 in scholarships to graduating seniors, partially funded a grant through the Streetsboro Educational Foundation, hosted 6 ribbon cuttings, and created a digital app to be used by over 175 visiting ball teams showcasing local business discounts. Additionally, our Executive Director was awarded scholarships to complete year 3 out of 4 at US Chamber of Commerce Institute.
In 2024, we plan to continue advocating for pro-business policies, as well as increasing the return on investment for our members. We offer a wide range of cost-saving solutions tailored to each member's individual needs, such as discounts on freight and shipping, group health insurance, and energy and sustainability programs.
We are also excited to offer membership to the US Chamber of Commerce for small businesses, where members can find financial assistance programs, resources, and advice from industry experts on how to start, run, and grow their businesses.
Our continued collaboration with area organizations such as Portage Development Board, University Hospitals Portage, NOACC and neighboring Chambers of Commerce enable us to create programs and services that help our members reach their professional and business goals.
