Greeley Denies Well Drilling
In a bold move, Greeley Planning Commission denies planned west Greeley oil and gas wells. For more information, see the Greeley Tribune Article.
Many policies and regulations overseeing oil & gas drilling in Colorado were written before new technology was introduced. The League of Oil and Gas Impacted Coloradans, LOGIC, was recently created to ensure that residents have equal footing in decisions about where to drill. LOGIC is a non-profit organization formed by citizens and communities in Colorado that have experienced oil and gas development impacts.

Sara Loflin, LOGIC executive director: "We are not pro- or anti-fracking. LOGIC will help residents with expertise, research and regulatory experience that all impacted residents can access, regardless of geography or ideology, and we will look for ways to u
pdate our laws and policies."

For more information, see the  LOGIC Press Release.
