BHA Principal's Update
Assalamu Alaikum Dear BHA families,

Hope everyone is staying safe and doing well by the grace of Allah SWT. May Allah grant us patience and and wisdom during these challenging times. Just wanted to share a simple reminder from the Prophet Muhammad PBUH with everyone. He PBUH said,
"Your smiling in the face of another is charity, commanding good and forbidding evil is charity, your giving directions to a man lost in the land is charity for you. Your seeing for a man with bad sight is a charity for you, your removal of a rock, a thorn or a bone from the road is charity for you. Your pouring what remains from your bucket into the bucket of your brother is charity for you." Subhanallah simple, small deeds done constantly and consistently are loved by Allah SWT.

This is a friendly reminder to please make sure that you are current on your tuition payments. The school offices are open for in person payments. It is always easier and safer to send it by mail. You can also send your tuition using online bill payment through your bank. It is a very easy and convenient way to make the payments.
To do so please go to Bill Payment via your Online Banking Account and:

• Add “Islamic School of San Diego” to your online banking account
• Use the following address for payment : 5663 Balboa Ave., P.O.Box # 407, San Diego, CA 92111
• Add “Student Name” and “Grade” in memo
• Can be done manually every month or set it up for automatic monthly scheduled payments

May Allah SWT help us to engage more and more in simple, consistent good deeds, keep you and your families safe and increase your sustenance.

Jazakum Allahu Khairan,

Muhammad Aftab Diwan, MEd

A Note From The Teacher:
Ms. Fatma Saleem

Salaam Seventh Graders!
A few students deserve special shoutouts for the wonderful job they did on their Islamic Studies quiz (Life in the Grave): Ayyub Dhamim and Ismail Abdinasir both got perfect scores, Alhamdulillah. I also wanted to mention Roj Kareem and Luqman Mohamed for near-perfect scores, masha'Allah. Wonderful job boys and I look forward to seeing more quiz results like this in the future, insha'Allah!
As for the Tafseer Test on Surah Al-Qalam, grades are up with the best grade going to Maryam Zakirah, Masha'Allah. Great job, that was not an easy test!
As for the rest of the class, don't worry! Your day will come too when you get your name sent home in an email for a perfect score. In the meantime, study hard and be happy for your classmates mentioned this week!
