Whoops! We messed up! Mission u retreat registration was closed for about 36 hours. No need for cryin' - just try it again. We expanded capacity this year and have space for you in the Retreat that begins Friday morning. The evening virtual sessions starting on the 25th have a few spots left, as do the lunchtime sessions starting in August. Come for a spiritual recharge, great discussions, or for the fellowship and fun. I hope to see you!

"VIDAS ROBOTAS"
THE STOLEN LIVES PROJECT
Groups from churches across Texas are putting the names of gun violence victims, their age and the date of their death on T-shirts to represent those in their community whose lives were stolen by gun violence. This is a powerful way to visualize the reality of too many victims. Your church or group can customize T-shirts like the UWFaith group* above.
This interfaith project makes a great hands-on mission activity. Display the shirts at your church this fall and then add your shirts to the display in Austin as the 2025 legislative session begins. More info here.
Contact UWFaith member Katie Clark if you have questions about how you or your church can be involved in this program.

Creation Justice Movement is a place to learn, connect, and move forward in caring for God's creation. This grassroots movement connects and supports groups in the work of creation care, justice and regeneration. It connects United Women in Faith, EarthKeepers, Church and Society, and anyone else.
JULY ACTIVITY: The SCJ (our area) Creation Justice Movement is preparing a letter to the SCJ bishops as they address Creation Care items recently passed at General Conference. The letter references UWF's Just Energy for All. All are welcome to read the letter and add their name as a resource in Appendix B. It would be amazing to see many of our UWF sisters on this list! We know UWFaith know how to make things happen! Please review the letter. Want to add your name? Then click on Elizabeth's name below and ask her to add your name to the letter.
