From Our Pastors

As Christmas approaches, we are conscious of all the gifts that we have received even in this unprecedented year.

The best gift is you, your continued support, encouragement, and perseverance. Sticking together in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, and for richer or poorer, is the sign and method of any successful marriage. A strong and lasting relationship is forged by taking the pluses and the minuses. As we have known this year, sometimes there seem to be more minuses. But throughout this year, again and again, we have seen people rising above and beyond in generosity and courage.

We will emerge stronger and wiser from this most unusual year in the life of almost every aspect of our parish communities. What we are doing in our parishes is worth the effort and investment. If you have not already, please take a moment of your time to review the stewardship talks listed below. They are the informative and heartfelt witnesses of just a few of your fellow parishioners. They are a tangible reminder of why we all keep giving, and how blessed with gifts we are. If you need signs of hope, we believe these will give you some.
As always if you have any pacific needs, please let us know. We are here to help.

Happy fourth Sunday of advent to all. A Sunday on which we hear of Mary who in the midst of winter Mary said yes to God’s improbable will and so began the hope and new life we celebrate in the birth to our savior. O come, O come, Emmanuel!

Fr. Mark Lane, c.o. and Fr. Michael Callaghan, c.o.
