 The Old Quincy City Hall building was constructed approximately 170 years ago. Recently this historically rich piece of America's upbringing has begun renovation that will restore the iconic building to its former glory, and the original carrying timbers that have endured for generations are being given a new life. We'd like to ensure that their legacy is passed on, and on, and on. These truly one-of-a-kind old growth white pine and heart pine timbers were hand notched by President John Quincy Adams' brother, Thomas.
