As we celebrate all the ways we are thankful for 20 years, we realize how much we appreciate the friends and families of Kinetic Kids who have helped us grow since that first t-ball team back in 2001. We learned right away how important it is for nonprofits to have strong mentors in the community. Mentors who not only provide generous financial support but who also take a personal interest in the organizations they empower. In honor of our 20th anniversary, we will now annually present The Kinetic Kids Visionary Award to a donor in our community who stands with Kinetic Kids! Choosing our first recipient was pretty simple. No matter the subject of our reminiscing, there was one name who kept rising to the top of all of our conversations. Mr. Harvey Najim has impacted the San Antonio community immensely and has made an unimaginable, unmeasurable impact on Kinetic Kids.

We are thrilled that our inaugural award recognizes an individual who has given unwavering support as we have grown from a team of 12 athletes to over 2,800 athletes in 260 programs a year!    We are eternally thankful for the families, foundations, corporations, and individuals who have given Kinetic Kids the financial strength from the past 20 years to become stable, successful, and secure.
