The atmosphere was electric as the teams battled it out for Gold, Silver and Bronze world championship medals. The USA Bass team emerged early on in the championship by amassing large weigh ins totals, which resulted in a dominating win. The team consisted of Captain Scott Martin, Scott Canterbury, James Watson, Fred Roumbanis, Anthony Gagliardi, Mark Rose, Jacob Wheeler and David Dudley. Led by USA Bass President Mark Schlarb and Coaches Charlie Evans and David Fritts. They also took home the individual pairs medals as well. Fred Roumbanis and James Watson taking the individual paris Gold medal. They were closely followed by Mark Rose and Anthony Gagliardi for individual pairs Silver. Captain Scott Martin and Scott Canterbury took home the pairs Bronze. The fourth place pair was P. Lansdell and J. Varkevisser of South Africa. Fifth place pair was E. German and P. German of Romania.
