Record Attendance at 2020 Wisconsin HIE Summit

More than 130 attendees were on hand January 29, 2020, for the fourth Wisconsin HIE Summit meeting at the Wilderness Resort, Wisconsin Dells.

Attendance has been steadily growing since the inaugural event in March 2016.

Guest speakers at the January 29 event included the CEOs of WISHIN’s sister organizations in Missouri and Colorado, and featured sessions on:

·        Improving case management
·        Managing post-acute transitions
·        Pending federal interoperability and TEFCA rules
·        CCD/C-CDA exchange via WISHIN
·        Enhancing discharge planning for FamilyCare enrollees
·        Preparing for value-based care Using WISHIN and PatientPing
·        Leveraging WISHIN to manage complex populations
·        Update on the WISHIN/PatientPing partnership

Attendee evaluations were extremely positive. The average response for the 34 questions was 1.84 on a 0/1/2 usefulness scale

The HIE Summit is a highlight of the year for the WISHIN staff. We so enjoy the opportunity to meet personally with WISHIN users and we’re pleased that we were able to deliver useful information. Thanks to all who attended. We hope to see you all (and many others) next time.
