August 2021 | Kindness Projects Fulfilled
In honor of International Credit Union (ICU) Day, the Sunmark Charitable Community Foundation is acknowledging individuals and organizations who have made their mark on the areas we serve by exemplifying the credit union philosophy of "people helping people."

We will be awarding $10,000 to honor individuals and organizations who have contributed their time, talent or treasure to better their communities. Nominations for the third annual Sunmark Charitable Community Foundation ICU Day Awards are now open through Sunday, September 12.

Earlier this year, the Sunmark Charitable Community Foundation and Beekman 1802 joined together to launch a Summer of Kindness - inviting children to "deposit kindness" by submitting their ideas on how they would spread kindness where they live. Throughout the summer, Kindness Crew members have been selecting ideas and working with children to bring their Kindness Projects to life.
Sunmark Credit Union hosted the 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic on Monday, August 9. The sold-out event was a record-breaking year for fundraising - bringing in over $55,000 for Sunmark's Charitable Community Foundation. See the photos from this year's event here!
