RECORD DRY SUMMER COMES TO END

Drenching Weekend Rain Hits Portland Ending Summer Drought. 0.5 to 1.5 inches of rain fell this past weekend dampening Labor Day activities but it was a very welcome relief from the record-breaking summer drought. Hopefully, our record-breaking hot dry summer has come to a close but the effects reflected in water bills will be felt for a while. Water is getting more and more expensive. Despite our efforts to conserve, water costs are impacting all property owner budgets.

Unpredictability caused by climate change and El Nino drive water rates up which is bad news for client's water costs. This is why we have invested in the knowledge and skills of our team and are promoting industry-leading water conservation strategies.

As we have for the past few years, our 2024 budgets will include water conservation projects to help our customers reduce their water use and cost.
