SFIC ONLINE BRIEFING FOR COMMUNITY AND FAITH PARTNERS

"THE CASE FOR REPARATIONS"

August 25, 2022

Earlier today, the San Francisco Interfaith Council (SFIC) hosted the 84th in a series of online briefings for community and faith partners. Today's briefing featured a powerful and substantive presentation by San Francisco African American Reparations Advisory Committee Chair Eric McDonnell, who made a strong case for reparations. We highly recommend that recipients of this briefing share the recording link with their networks.

The briefing may be viewed in its entirety below:
Also participating were Zoom Briefing Moderator/SFIC Executive Director Michael Pappas and SFIC Board Member/University of the Pacific Vice President for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Professor of Communication Dr. Mary Lomax-Ghirarduzzi (formerly Wardell). Special appreciation is extended to SFIC Program/Administrative Associate Cynthia Zamboukos and Enceladus Event Production and Consulting principal Tre Russell Allen.

Please join us on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 8:30 am, when Director of the Family Acceptance Project Caitlin Ryan will address the timely and critical issue of the impact of shaming and ostracization on LGBTQ youth.
A special thanks…
