March 20th 2025 - 6:00 PM

This webinar discussed wetting agent chemistries and real-life examples of success in a turf program, benefits of wetting agent chemistries in reaction to plants and soil, benefits of wetting agents/adjuvants in reaction to spray water quality, how making these adjustments/enhancements will reduce the stress on the plants during drought and heat stress, making them less susceptible to insect and disease problems.

Application of Liquids: Nozzles & Calibration

March 27th 2025 - 6:00 PM

This talk explored applying liquid fertilizers and the process of selecting a nozzle(s) and calibrating a boom sprayer. We quantify the amount of fertilizer product required and water to put in a spray tank based on product rate, area to be treated, and desired spray volume. The principles of nozzle selection and sprayer calibration discussed in this talk are applicable to the safe application of any liquid chemicals.
