Check out job openings online at LongmontColorado.gov/jobs. We are working to get all openings up in time for the fair, so they may not all be listed. Checking out what is up can help guide your questions and who you want to talk to while at the fair. Age requirements are listed with each job posting.

Job Opportunities for ages 15 & 16: Aquatics has jobs for 15 & 16 year olds as lifeguards and swim instructors - these are great places to grow teamwork, leadership skills, and experience working with children. Teens 16 & up are eligible to work as front desk receptionists, sports officials, and youth sports coaches.
Fitness instructors: if interested in doing an audition the day of the fair, be prepared to show a dynamic warmup before showcasing a few of your favorite exercises and class sequences for the class format of your choice. Bring music if you have it! Don't forget workout clothes and proper shoes.
Lifeguards/swim teachers: bring a swimsuit and test out the water! Get a feel for our pools and take advantage of an informal swimming assessment. We know swimming and can give you pointers on your next steps. As a thank you for checking us out, stay and enjoy a free swim on us.
The Job Fair
- Tables will be set up in the front lobby of the Longmont Recreation Center. We know not everyone will be available during the fair times. If you have questions, please check in with the front desk at any recreation facility or email RecSupport@longmontcolorado.gov to be directed to the people who have the answers!
