Upcoming Programs/Events:
1.The Tarrytown pool is open for the 2025 season! Get your seasonal pool pass in person at the Recreation Center or online.
2. Session 2 of the 2025 Summer Camp season will begin on Monday, July 21st, from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at Washington Irving School.
3. SUP Yoga, Zumba & Yoga all have classes scheduled for the week of July 21st. Keep reading newsletter for more info.
4. The next Thursday night concert will be on July 24th, from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. in Pierson Park. Keep reading newsletter for more info.

Grateful Bro filled out the park again with a crowd of 350-400 fans, see above band picture. For almost a decade, they have consistently delivered memorable performance after memorable performance on the Pierson Park stage. Thank you for returning!

STARTING Independence Day festivities with a KICK (KickStart Charlie) and ENDING with a BANG! July 4th was an idyllic & breezy summer day, packed with kid friendly fun: face painting & bouncy castle, fantastic tunes, delicious food & FIREWORKS!!! What a spectacle :)
Thank you to all of the food vendors that participated: Wanna Empanada, Cousins Maine Lobster, Crazy Taco-Mex, Wrapper's Delight, Mostly Dough Mobile Pizza, Crispin Dopamine, Colossal Kielbasa, Flavors for Neighbors, Scotty's Egg Rolls, Three Little Pigs BBQ, Mr. Softee/Nathans Famous, Duck Donuts & Jimmy's Soft Serve.
A special thank you to the Police & Fire departments, E.M.S., D.P.W., Harbor Master & Parks department for making this another successful and smooth event!

Session 1 down, session 2 to go!
A summer filled with smiles, games, socializing & FUN!!! We offer a full 6-week camp (3-week sessions available) experience, filled with sports, field activities, arts & crafts, STEM, swimming, trips, onsite entertainment & MORE! Camp serves children in Pre-Kindergarten (must at least be 3 years of age AND potty trained) through 6th grade (attending 6th grade in September 2025). Camp trips are included in the cost of tuition.
If you have not done so already, create an account on RecDesk (registration platform) in advance so that you can register for camp promptly. When registering, please be prepared to upload copies of your child's immunization records. These records MUST be signed or stamped by your child's physician.
Registration is CLOSED for session 2.

There is still time to get enough bang for your buck on getting your seasonal pool pass! Participate in pool favorites, like Float Night and Boat Day. Exercise in the water with Aqua Aerobics and get centered with Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga. Swim, chill with friends, bask in the sun...have FUN!
Required Documents to obtain membership: 1.Current Driver's License with Tarrytown address AND 2.Proof of Residency (*If your license does not list a Tarrytown residence, please bring a second proof of residency.*)
Acceptable proofs of residency include but are not limited to: con-ed bill, bank statement, water bill, lease etc.

After a 4 year process, the 501 3(c) nonprofit "Friends of Tarrytown Parks & Recreation," was established on January 1, 2025. "Friends" will work closely with Parks and Recreation departments to aid and assist with providing quality programs, services, and parks modifications that are beyond routine expenses as projected by the annual budget. It serves to enhance the lives of residents by supporting Parks and Recreation.
