Join us for an exciting evening in the park on June 12th as we broadcast the USA vs. Paraguay match live on a big inflatable screen! Score the perfect spot on the field by setting up your favorite lawn chairs and blankets before the 9:00 p.m. match time. Skip making dinner and tackle your cravings at our on-site food trucks, offering a delicious lineup of snacks and refreshments available for purchase.

In this high-energy cooking series, junior chefs will grab their culinary passports and take a flavor tour across the globe. From savory pockets to delicious hand-rolled dishes, students will explore diverse cultures by crafting their own versions of wrapped and rolled foods.
This hands-on workshop is designed to build kitchen confidence. Our chefs-in-training will practice the fundamentals of measurement, seasoning, and mixing while expanding their palates with fresh, exciting ingredients.

Summer Camp Chronicles-A Season of Adventure!
We’re looking forward to a fantastic 6-week program designed to keep campers active, engaged, and connected. Our weekly schedule offers a rich blend of off-site field trips and live on-site entertainment, alongside hands-on projects in STEM and Arts & Crafts. It’s the perfect environment for children to explore new interests and build lasting memories at their own pace. The program welcomes campers from Pre-K (minimum age 3 and potty-trained) through incoming 6th graders.
Registration is OPEN. If you have not done so already, create an account on RecDesk (registration platform) in advance so that you can register for camp promptly when registration opens. Camp trips are included in the cost of tuition.

Cast a Line & See What You Reel In!
Mark your calendars-The Fishing Derby returns to the Tarrytown Lakes on Saturday, August 1st (with a rain date of Sunday, August 2nd). This family-friendly event is open to kids ages 6–12, making it the perfect opportunity to spend a beautiful summer morning by the water. Just pack up your own fishing poles, head on down, and we will provide the bait to get the kids started. Please note that this is a catch-and-release event.
Come enjoy some community fun and see who reels in the biggest catch!

After a 4 year process, the 501 3(c) nonprofit "Friends of Tarrytown Parks & Recreation," was established on January 1, 2025. "Friends" will work closely with Parks and Recreation departments to aid and assist with providing quality programs, services, and parks modifications that are beyond routine expenses as projected by the annual budget. It serves to enhance the lives of residents by supporting Parks and Recreation.
