Beginning at sunset on September 20, Yom Kippur marks Judaism's solemn Day of Atonement, dedicated to fasting, prayer, and reflection. Sharing wishes for an easy fast or a gmar hatimah tovah (pronounced gmar kha-tee-mah toh-vah) is a traditional way to support neighbors observing the holiday. May the day bring a meaningful renewal to all who observe.
