One Team. One Dream. And in October, our students were so happy to go see Hamilton in downtown Chicago. History coming to life!

October was filled with learning and fun, in and out of the classroom.

In addition to Hamilton, we had a few

other highlights:

• College Fair comes to SFDS
• Dresden Nuclear Plant Visit
• Food giveaways continue monthly
• Homecoming Dance and more

Below find pictures from the month, an update on Work Study and some recruiting news! Prospective Pioneers, registration for test day opens in one week on November 11th and our next Open House is November 28th at 6pm.

You will also find the 23-24 Basketball Schedule for our team lead by Coach Larry Moore Jr.

Work Study Program Happenings!

We have a busy fall with 16 jobs partners and two more on their way (BP and Jackson Park Hospital!). We are also thankful to Wintrust Bank for hosting an event in support of the Southeast Side Experience Incubator and the Work Study Program. Principal Facen talked movingly about how this program and our partners give access to our students and help them to DREAM BIG about their future.
