Rector Search Update

This coming Sunday, the Fifth Sunday of Easter, we will ask God to bless our search committee at our 10:00 service. The search for our new Rector will soon begin in earnest and we pray that God will guide St Francis to the leader who will shepherd us into the future. The members of our search committee are: Joy Bacon, Anna Eakins, Mark Hamilton, Kelly Lynch, Fabrizio Pelá, and Alex Sams.

This Sunday at 10:00 we will have a guest preacher, the Rev. Dr. Bob Honeychurch. Bob will be conducting a brief retreat with our Vestry following the service to discuss how we might best welcome and support a new Rector.

Our special prayer emphases this Sunday will be:
  • Ongoing prayers as part of Military Appreciation Month and Mental Health Awareness Month.
  • Police Week and Emergency Medical Services Week.
  • Peace Officers Memorial Day in tribute to the brave local, state, and federal peace officers who have died or been disabled in the line of duty.

Jesus is risen and St Francis is living out the new life in Christ! Come and see the glory of the Lord!
