Recycled Water to Flow from District to Seaside

Drought-Proof Water Supply To Provide Substantial Benefits

Marina Coast Water District will begin supplying the City of Seaside with 132 million gallons of recycled water each year. This recycled water to be used for irrigation will reduce pumping from the Seaside Groundwater Basin.

Seaside gets to use the water twice: first to water the community golf courses and then to bank the water for later use after receiving credit in the Seaside Groundwater Basin.

The Recycled water will free up much-needed groundwater to support future community development and increase affordable housing.

Everyone will benefit from recycled water.
