American Swedish Institute Male Chorus plus special guests coming soon!

Join us Sunday, May 17 at 3pm as we are again welcoming the ASI Male Chorus along with special guests, Unexpected Company and the Karl Oskar Band, back to Chisago Lake Lutheran for their annual performance! There will be refreshments served following the performance provided by our Historical Committee.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

CELEBRATE!! We are not even a third of the way through our 3 Year Capital Campaign and yet… we are 50% of the way to our $883,000 goal!

Work that is already completed or in progress includes new entry doors and security, window replacement, doors refurbishing around the sanctuary, new patio plans, landscaping by the lower entrance and improved lighting. Additional projects needing funding include bathroom updates, fire suppression system, and flooring. We thank all who have been a part of the campaign.

An Invitation for You & Your Church Community!

The LSM Choral Gathering is a one-day opportunity for adult singers to come together for meaningful, shared music-making with Lutheran Summer Music. The day will be led by Dr. David Cherwien, Lutheran Summer Music faculty member and former Artistic Director of the National Lutheran Choir.

Join singers from across the region for a full day of community music-making:

·   Rehearsals

·   Artist faculty-led workshops

·   Shared meal

·   Evening Prayer with the entire LSM community in offering their music

This event offers a welcoming way to experience the music, people, and artistic life of Lutheran Summer Music at St. Olaf College.

The LSM Choral Gathering is open to:

·   Adult singers (18+)

·   Church and community choir members

·   Choir directors, cantors, and church musicians

·   Individual singers (no ensemble required)

Participants under 18 are welcome when accompanied by an adult. No audition is required.

If so, you are able to apply for $250 Thrivent Action Card. These can be used for any number events and project. Some of the ways they have been used at CLLC over the years include: funds for the quilters and newborn kits, the Community Pig Roast, Youth Lasagna Dinner, Palm Sunday Breakfast, just to name a few. This seed money can be used in any number of projects! If you have a Thrivent account, it is easy to apply on line.
