Wrestling Team Wins DII State Championship

The Bishop Watterson boys wrestling team won the Division II State Championship, the first team championship in the history of the program. This is the third team state championship for Bishop Watterson during the 2024-25 school year, with football and girls soccer winning state championships in the fall!

Senior Mitchell Younger won his third individual state title at 144 lbs. (2022, 2023, 2024). Sophomore Michael Boyle took his second consecutive state title, winning at 215 lbs. His win in 2023 was at 165 lbs.

The Eagles also had two runners-up: junior James Lindsay at 150 lbs. and freshman Tommy Rowlands at 138 lbs. Freshman Thomas Lindsay finished 4^th at 132 lbs.
