Watterson 101
Of Course
Did you know Bishop Watterson offers 155 courses? We want our students to excel and find their strengths and interests en route to their future careers. We do that by offering courses – from the arts through world languages – that meet their needs and abilities as well as their interests!
Class of 2024
The Bishop Watterson Class of 2024, with 215 members, was offered $29 million in college merit scholarships. This is merit only and does not include financial aid. Students in the class were accepted at 160 colleges and universities. We hear from colleges that our students are well prepared for the rigors of college work!
The Ratio
Student-teacher ratio is a statistic that has been getting attention for many years. The assumption around this ratio: the smaller the ratio, the better the school. When we determine our ratio, we include every staff member who teaches classes or works directly with students to help them achieve their academic goals, such as guidance or intervention staff. Using this criteria, Bishop Watterson's student-teacher ratio is 12:1.
