Pastor's Points:
Our sermon series on Faith and Trust concludes this week with the marriage of Rebekah and Isaac. It’s an incredible story that plays out like a modern-day rom-com.
But under the betrothal story, and camels, and gold is a story of the prevenient grace of God, the unshakeable trust of an unnamed servant, a community of faithful believers, and the remarkable strength and faith of a young woman leaving her family and traveling to a life she does not know. At every step of the journey to and back again, God’s actions and faithfulness are on full display.
How do we know that God is the One who is leading us?
Are we paying close enough attention to the ordinariness in our lives to even see how God answers our prayers?
And do we trust that God keeps God’s promises? This story is about the faith and trust of a servant and a woman and the faithful, lovingkindness of a trustworthy God.
Stay cool this weekend, hydrate, and check on your neighbors!
See you Sunday,
Pastor Emilee

Notes you need for this weekend: **REMINDER: For the rest of the summer, we will be worshiping in Kobler Hall for ALL services until the A/C in the Sanctuary is fixed.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the holiday weekend and limited staff availability, our nursery will NOT BE STAFFED on Sunday, July 5th. However, the room (on the lower level) will be available to use WITH your child(ren) should you need a space for them to roam safely; it is equipped with a bathroom and closed-circuit TV to view the worship service.

Green Tip(s) of the Week!
Stay cool and eco‑smart this July 4th weekend by freezing a reusable water bottle to cut down on plastic waste while keeping your drinks cold. Seek out natural shade from trees or canopies instead of energy‑heavy cooling gadgets. Choose breathable, light‑colored clothing to stay comfortable without extra electricity. Wrap up the holiday by cleaning up promptly and opting for sustainable celebration alternatives like LED sparklers to protect wildlife and reduce pollution. Wishing you a safe, cool, and environmentally conscious holiday weekend. Small choices add up—and together, we can celebrate sustainably!
