Hills or Flat? What makes you faster?
We all know cyclists who live for climbs, whether the climbs are short and punchy hills or massively long mountain passes. If it’s uphill, they love it. And there’s no doubt that climbing is hard, but the question is whether riding in flat terrain, like in the Houston area, is actually a better way to train. Find out the answer here ; it might surprise you.
If you have ever wanted to race, here’s your chance! Join Bike Barn every Wednesday from 5-8pm for some fun bike races in Memorial Park, at the Picnic Loop. A popular spectator venue, there will be a food truck each night and great places to watch the races.

One day licenses are available if you are new to racing or interested in getting back into the action. The Memorial Park Crit race series continues through August 28. We look forward to seeing you there!

Be Safe, Be Seen
Allow us to introduce a company that's on a mission to make cycling safer and give you peace of mind when you are on the bike, Cycliq.

Combining a high-intensity light with a continuous video recording, Cycliq not only catches highlights of your ride, but it also provides a video log of any issues that arise. A rear facing camera/light with 100 lumens and a front facing camera/light with 600 lumens, captures 4-8 hours of video with smart loop technology to keep recording throughout your ride. Be safe, be protected and see why people are talking about Cycliq.
New Domane from Trek
