Join us at our University Shop on January 11th at 6pm for an informational clinic on training for the BP MS 150. The folks with Ready2Roll Cycling will share their great knowledge and answer any questions about preparing for the BP MS 150. The Ready2Roll Cycling 14 ride training series is perfect for riders of all levels; anyone will gain an incredible amount of knowledge and skill by joining. Bring your best questions as you discover one of the most fun ways to train for the BP MS 150. 
The Specialized Demo Trailer is in Houston on January 28th at our Champions shop. Come ride the brand new 2018  Specialized S-Works Tarmac  with us on our weekly shop ride. This free demo gives you the chance to test out the lightest bike Specialized has ever made. Bikes are limited, so  sign up now  to reserve your spot!
Come join Bike Barn as we cheer on our favorite runners during the Houston Marathon! We'll be outside our University Shop handing out (and maybe snacking on) Shipley's donuts and coffee. Be sure to stop by our tent to pick up a cowbell and make your own cheer sign!

Ladies, join nationally recognized fit specialist Cynthia Stewart at the Custom Fit Studio on January 25th for an informative fit clinic for women cyclists. We will discuss common bike fit issues relating to saddle, foot, and hand pain. This clinic is perfect for new or seasoned cyclists, so come learn how making small changes in your fit will make a big difference in your comfort and enjoyment on your bike.
Start your race season off right with the Davy Crockett Classic on February 10th & 11th in Crockett, TX. This is the first major road race of the year. Sign up for the Individual Time Trial, the Criterium, the Road Race, or race all 3 in the Omnium! No matter which you choose this event is perfect for spectators and athletes.
Come out to our West University shop on February 17th for Wheels, Wine, & Women, presented by Bayou City Outdoors. This ladies-only clinic will cover how to transport your bike, change a flat, fix your chain, and do general safety checks. Wine and snacks are provided and no need to bring your bike, but definitely bring a girl friend!
The Humble Lions Club Bike Ride on February 10th is a great charity ride benefiting Handicapped and Diabetic Children and the Hearts Scholarship foundation. This BP MS 150 recommended ride winds it's way around the Lake Houston area with 3 route distances from 22-55 miles.
The Bulldog Bike Ride on February 17th out of Waller is a great BP MS 150 recommended ride. Enjoy quiet country riding with rolling hills and minimal traffic with 3 route distances from 25-50 miles. After the ride, make sure to get in line for fresh homemade pancakes served by students and staff from Waller Junior High School!
The Tour du Rouge May 6-11 is an amazing 6 day ride that takes you from Houston to New Orleans. Discover the amazing history and sights as you travel through Louisiana. With great rest stops, wonderful food, hotel rooms and daily ride support, this memorable ride is perfect for the adventurer inside all of us!
Come out on March 3rd for the CHI St. Joseph Health Gran Fondo , one of the largest and most scenic rides in our area. This ride is a great tour of the Brazos Valley with 4 distances ranging from 20-100 miles. Looking for even more adventure? Consider the epic Gran Gravel 500!
If you are planning on riding the BP MS 150 for the first time or haven't spent much time riding in large groups, then definitely sign up for the MS Society's Group Riding Skills Course at our Katy Shop. Hosted by the League of American Bicyclists, this short course is designed to give you the principles of group riding so you can safely enjoy your next ride. You will receive 2 hours of classroom and an hour of on-the-bike safety drills, so bring your bike.
