Upcoming dates for your calendar:

  • May 2: Calming the Waters, meditative movement for every body
  • May 3: Food collection for Help of Beaufort
  • May 12: Visit ABLE Foundation with Outreach and Mission Team
  • May 17: Parish Spring Picnic and our move to one service at 10am

After more than a decade of faithful and extraordinary professional service, our treasurer Lewis Tabb is leaving the Lowcountry and St. Mark's. Lewis and Margaret are moving to the Raleigh area where they will be near their children and grandchildren. Lewis's contributions over the years to the financial well-being or our parish have been a gift and a ministry. We have exceptional controls and reports in place, thanks to Lewis and his team.

And now St. Mark's needs your help in several areas of our financial management. Some roles are fairly basic while others are more complex. Perhaps you've been wondering how you might apply your talents to the parish. Please contact James Tetler or any vestry member to explore this

possibility.

Family Promise of Beaufort County partners with local congregations to provide meals, shelter, and support for families experiencing homelessness as they work toward stable housing and renewed independence.

You can support the Family Promise meal program by donating gift cards from Walmart or Food Lion in amounts of $25 or $50.

If you would like to contribute, please purchase a gift card and give it to George Utter or drop it off at the church office. Gift cards should be received by Sunday, June 7.

Food Collection Sunday

We'll be collecting food this Sunday, May 3rd for HELP of Beaufort. They are always in need of pasta and sauce, canned fruit, instant oatmeal and grits, cereal, jelly, canned vegetables, canned meat, bottled water and paper products. Thank you for supporting our community members in need!

The Piggy Banks are in!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Senior Hunger Awareness piggy bank project! We collected 32 piggy banks which will be delivered to HELP of Beaufort this week.

Thank You!

To our dear parish family,

"Grace upon grace" comes to mind. We are so deeply touched by your gracious welcome. Every kind look, every wave, every conversation remind us of how very special this parish is. God is all over this place and the beautiful souls who inhabit this sacred building. There simply are not adequate words.

Thank you, bless you, and God's grace hold you forever.

With love,

Jeff and Pam+
