In the coming weeks, we will have the joy of celebrating some baptisms in our parish community. Baptism is one of the great milestones of faith, a moment when we mark and celebrate God’s love at work in our lives.
If you have ever wondered about baptism for yourself or your child, or if you are curious about confirmation or becoming a member of this church, I would love to talk with you. Whether you are just beginning to ask questions or feel ready to take a next step, please reach out!

The Richard Rohr book club will meet again on Saturday, April 11 at 3:00pm at St. Marks. We’ll cover chapters 8, 9, and 10, focusing on the transition to the Second Half of Life and eldering. All are welcome! | Food Collection - Sunday, April 12 | We will be collecting food for St. Francis Center this Sunday, April 12th. They always welcome canned fruit and applesauce, rice, syrup, instant oatmeal and grits, jelly, pickles, mayonnaise, salad dressing and ketchup. Please check the "use by" dates on your food items. St. Mark’s along with other area congregations will be partnering with HELP of Beaufort in their “piggy” bank project, which will provide funds to assist senior citizens who are experiencing food insecurity.
Look for the SPAM “piggy banks” in the church and in the Center beginning April 12, which you can add to throughout the month. Stay tuned for more details.
