Pledge Drive 2020
The Annual Pledge Drive, this year under the direction of Lea and John Duncan, began last Sunday. If you did not receive a letter and pledge card in the mail, pick up a packet in the narthex or contact the office to have one sent to you. The Pledge Drive ends Sun., Nov. 24 . We ask your prayerful consideration of your 2020 pledge to support St. Mark's and its many outreach ministries.
St. Mark's shirts available for order
Show your colors--t-shirts and polo shirts! T-shirts, available in adult and children's sizes, have the St. Mark's lion logo on the front (as shown) and "We respect the dignity of every human being" on the reverse. Collared polo shirts, also dark blue, have the same logo on the front but are blank on the back and are available in men's and women's sizes. Order by the Oct. 27 deadline to receive by mid-November. All proceeds go to benefit St. Mark's outreach and missions. Pick up an order form in the church or Center.
Susan Grimes elected to Vestry
On Aug. 29 the Vestry elected Susan Grimes to serve the remainder of Patty Crower’s term. You probably know Susan through her frequent service as acolyte and sacristan, as well as being one of the “ladies of the linens” and a regular at the adult ed programs. From Livingston, NJ, Susan has been married to Bill for 38 years. They have three adult children and three grandchildren. Before coming to the Beaufort area, they lived in Marietta, GA, for 25 years. Susan speaks for many of us when she says, “I am thankful for Patty Crower’s service to St. Mark’s and for the gift of Jesus who makes all life meaningful.”
Join the party
