What a full, exciting, and powerful week our conservative candidates, both statewide and local, have enjoyed. The word is spreading rapidly across the state, that Virginians have a choice! The differences between our conservative candidates and progressive left democrat candidates are very clear, and the media is assisting us in making those differences known. Glenn Youngkin continues to be a firebrand consistently sharing a vision for our commonwealth of what we can be and should be, an equal and open society for all. Locally, our members are actively engaged in the community, spreading the word. We hold our very popular republican breakfast each Saturday at the Golden Corral on Independence Ave., and we consistently have over 70 in attendance! Senator Bill DeSteph did a great job last Saturday. The Beach GOP was also a sponsor for the 2021 Fil Fest at Mt Trashmore on 2-3 Oct. Thanks to the membership committee for staffing our tent both days. All local and statewide candidates were either participating or had people representing them at the event. Those in the lumpia eating contest had the most fun! We also sponsored the Hampton Roads Black Caucus (HRBC) annual ‘Breakfast of Champions” held at “the Landings” in Hampton Virginia on Saturday 2 October. Most local, and statewide, candidates were present or had representatives in attendance. Many of our local candidates received the HRBC endorsement for the November elections and all three of our statewide candidates were endorsed! Congratulations to all who received this valuable endorsement from the HRBC, but it comes with much attention from our opponents who are now condemning the organization because of its’ endorsement of Glen Youngkin for Governor. The HRBC is a non-partisan organization that has endorsed democrat gubernatorial candidates in the past, but this year chose to endorse Glen Youngkin, and the entire Republican statewide slate! Your local party will also be represented at the Virginia Beach Gun show at the convention center this coming weekend. Come out and support the gun show and your membership committee who will be manning our booth!

Shortly, we will have five satellite voting sites in Virginia Beach, and we will be voting on two Saturdays and one Sunday this month. We will keep you informed about the locations, dates, and times they will be open. We must be on duty representing our party at each of these sites. I thank all who have taken the time to volunteer. Each election cycle is labeled the most important election in our lifetime, but this year is critical for us and what we believe in. We must turn out that crowd in Richmond and can do so with our stellar slate of candidates locally and statewide. We must all work as hard as our candidates to ensure they have an opportunity to right the many wrongs that have taken place the past two years in our General Assembly. Do your part and work the polls!

Volunteer at least three hours at the polling site this week and become a stakeholder in making Virginia Red again! Our candidates need your enthusiastic support, and you will have great fun meeting your neighbors.

See you at the polls and make sure you vote early!
