SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR COMING NOVEMBER 11-14

The Book Fair is coming up soon! Butler’s Fall Book Fair is Monday, Nov. 11th through Thursday, Nov. 14th.

Thanks to the success of last year’s book fairs, we will be offering $5 Scholastic Bucks to every student at Butler!  That $5 can go towards the purchase of any book at the Book Fair (no accessories) No coupon required – we will apply the $5 at the register.  **$5 credit does not include sales tax and must be redeemed in person.  Sorry, we cannot apply the $5 credit towards an online book order.

Book Fair flyers will be sent home next week. These flyers provide just a sampling of the books available at the book fair. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that all books will be available for the whole fair. Book Fair purchases can be made with cash, credit card (must be the credit card itself, not only the numbers – parent signature required for transaction), checks made payable to Butler PTO, or Ewallet.

eWallet

EWallet is now live!! Sign up here. EWallet is a virtual giftcard program through scholastic. The money you add to the eWallet remains on your ewallet. If there are unused funds after the fair, you can save it for the next fair or use it on the scholastic sites.  Each child will need their own eWallet.

If you would prefer to shop at home with your child, or the book your child wants is out of stock, you can shop at our online book fair, running from 10/18-11/14 via this link. Books ordered online will be delivered directly to your home. Any questions please contact Amy Wigo or Shirley Schombs.

CONTRIBUTE TO HELP SUPPORT PTO PROGRAMS & EVENTS

PTO events and activities would not be available without our volunteers and the financial contribution by the Butler families. In support of our efforts, we are asking for a $15 contribution per household (Butler Family) as the means to offset the expenses for organizing and holding the events.

For those who wish, you can sponsor another Butler family’s $15 contribution. Payment is preferred through MyPaymentsPlus or submit a check with this form.

*Please check with your company to see if they offer a “Donor Match” program.

MY PAYMENTS PLUS VS. MY SCHOOL BUCKS
My Payments Plus
My Payments Plus is a free, secured, online account which allows you to pay for student fees, field trips, PTO events, summer classes, etc. This is used district-wide, so we encourage all families to register for an account. To sign up, simply visit: MyPaymentsPlus.com and click on “Register a Free Account.” You will need your child's student identification number to set up the account, which can be found in the parent portal.
My School Bucks
My School Bucks is a free, secured online account which allows you to pay for school meals. It allows you to have a digital option for lunches (no cards – the cafeteria staff look up the child’s name at the register) as well as see what items your child is purchasing in the cafeteria. To access My School Bucks, please visit MySchoolBucks.com. You will need your child's student identification number to set up the account, which can be found in the parent portal.
