Red River Rigs' Jeep JXL
Video of the Week

Presented by OutdoorX4

Go where you've never gone before. That's the mantra for Red River Rigs, proprietors of the exceptionally functional Jeep JXL extended camper.

In this video, OutdoorX4 Magazine spends some time talking with Glen Pratt, President of Red River Rigs, to discuss the Jeep JXL and variety of options available for the Jeep JK and soon to be available JL and JT Gladiator platforms. After spending the weekend exploring and camping from their Gobi 2 model at the basement of Palo Duro Canyon, we're convinced the American Safari Jeep JXL is a worthy option for Jeep vehicle adventurists.
OutdoorX4 Relaunches Signout Podcast
Signout Co and OutdoorX4 team up to relaunch an engaging platform for storytelling and adventure

OutdoorX4 is proud to announce it has partnered with the Signout Co to relaunch the Signout Podcast!

First launched in mid-2018, the Signout Podcast is about telling a new story, pursuing a new direction, chasing a passion, and honoring others while uplifting the community. The Podcast's proprietor, Daniel Thornton, had previously produced 14 episodes as part of the Signout series and we are proud to bring his approach to storytelling back to life with new stories, new personalities, and new adventures.

In this latest episode, we are excited to tell the life story of Bill Dragoo, a remarkable gentleman whose experiences have literally taken him along the road less traveled. Bill has also been a regular contributor to OutdoorX4 over the years, inspiring our staff as an adventure motorcyclist and good friend.

You can listen to and subscribe, free of charge, to the newly relaunched Signout Podcast on Apple, Spotify, and most Podcast platforms as well as directly from the Podcast link on the OutdoorX4 website toolbar, or by clicking/tapping the link below. New episodes will be released monthly for your listening enjoyment while at home, at the office, or on the road. We hope you enjoy this series!

Don't Become a Victim: Assessing the Scene and Environment

by Fernando Rivero

Regardless of their level of training, all medical professionals and rescuers learn, early on, the importance of situational awareness and assessing the scene before intervening in rescue or patient care. This is an equally important concept when rendering first aid, and I cannot over-emphasize its importance for your own well-being and that of the person you are helping. Our instinct is to rush in to help, but the scene and the environment must first be assessed to ensure our own safety and that of the victim.
