Relationships Beyond the Pharmacy Counter: Red Rock at CHCA
Last week, Red Rock Pharmacy was proud to attend the CHCA Conference, represented by Regional Director of Marketing David Rimlinger and Marketer Brian Martin. While conferences are always an opportunity to talk about pharmacy services, for us, the most valuable conversations weren’t simply about what Red Rock does; they were about who we do it with.
The conference gave us an opportunity to meet new prospective partners, learn more about their organizations, and hear firsthand about the challenges they face when navigating pharmacy processes. Those conversations are important because a successful pharmacy relationship shouldn’t begin with a sales pitch. It begins with listening, understanding an organization’s needs, and determining how we can work together to make pharmacy easier for staff and, ultimately, better for the people they serve.
Just as meaningful was the time we spent with our current clients. CHCA gave us a chance to step away from the day-to-day phone calls, emails, medication questions, and operational details and simply enjoy some time together.
Celebrating with the people we work with is a great reminder that our strongest partnerships are built on more than a contract or a service agreement.
At Red Rock, we believe the best pharmacy relationships require shared investment and shared success. Pharmacy is complex, and no process is perfect. Challenges will arise. What matters is having partners who are willing to communicate openly, work through those challenges together, and continually look for ways to improve.
That investment goes both ways. We want to understand our clients’ operations, priorities, and pain points. We want them to know they have a pharmacy partner invested in their success. When both sides approach the relationship that way, pharmacy stops being simply a vendor service and becomes a true partnership.
We left CHCA grateful for the relationships we’ve already built, excited about the new ones that began with a conversation last week, and reminded of something we believe strongly at Red Rock: Our success is tied to the success of the communities we serve, and the best results happen when we invest in each other.
