Greetings in the name of our Risen Lord!
Sunday is the 4th Sunday of Easter and also known as "Good Shepherd" Sunday. We are excited to have many of our young people help lead worship at all three services. We also have a lot of activities taking place throughout the week. Please note the update on our "Food for Others" drive in this email. The announcements will give you updates on all other events.
Sunday Worship – 8:30 am, 9:45 am, and 11:00 am
On Sunday our talented youth will offer special music at each service. We will also have a special Coffee Hour after the 8:30 am and 9:45 am services. Those who are organizing our part in McLean Day will be our hosts. Opportunities to sign up to help on McLean Day will be made available to you and/or use this link. McLean Day is on Saturday, May 20.

Important Update on "Food for Others" Drive
We have two more weeks to collect food items before we put everything together the week of May 14. We took an inventory this week and here are the items we still need (all are to be serving-sized containers). You can also look at the complete list by clicking here.
We need!
Cereal Boxes
Chili Cups
Chef Boyardee Ravioli
100% Fruit Juice
We have collected $530 in donations. We can always use more! We will be shopping for any food items we need to make complete sets. Donations can be made to "Redeemer Lutheran Church" with a memo "Food for Others."
Redeemer Dinner Groups
Dinner groups are a fun way to get to know other people in the church. For your convenience you can sign up online or you can give us your name on Sunday morning. Look on the table in the Crossroads for the signup sheet.

Stronger Together - May 7
We have an open invitation to attend a seminar to hear ways we can give support to parents, children, and teens around mental health issues. It will be held on Sunday, May 7, at 4 pm. We will meet at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in McLean. All are welcome. Please contact Pastor Kessinger if you would like to attend.
