Greetings!
We hope everyone has stayed safe and warm throughout this week. Outside of the impact of the snowstorms, we are praying for the communities in California impacted by the wildfires. As firefighters continue to battle multiple areas around Los Angeles, we pray for their safety. One of the ways that we can help the people is to make a donation to Lutheran Disaster Response. Annual Reports
If you are responsible for submitting an annual report to the church office, please do so by Sunday, January 12, so that we have sufficient time to put the report together. The congregation will receive the full report on Sunday, January 26. Thank you!
Sunday, January 12 - Baptism of Our Lord - 8:30 am, 9:45 am, and 11 am
Come and worship! This week we are in need of many worship volunteers. For the 8:30 am service we need a reader and assisting minister. We need a reader at the 9:45 am service. We also need a reader, assisting minister, and acolyte at the 11 am service. Thank you to all those who sign up to help each week! The Lutheran liturgy was designed for full participation by all.

Educational Opportunities on Sunday – 9:45 am
Faith Formation, Confirmation, the High School “Bagels & Bible” classes, and Table Talk will meet at 9:45 am.
Parking Lot Caution
Given the amount of snow that has fallen, the snowbanks on either side of our parking lots and entrance driveways have narrowed. Please use caution when entering/exiting the parking lot and watch for ice. We are doing our best to keep things clear. Just give yourself a little extra time on Sunday.
Parents’ Lunch and Conversation— January 12
Parents at Redeemer are invited to join us in Fellowship Hall after worship for lunch and conversation. The conversation will focus on how we can better support parents and our youth in the coming year. We want to resume some activities and creatively venture into new areas that will excite our youth. Please meet in Fellowship Hall around 12 pm which is right after the 11 am service. Please sign up using this link so we know how many to expect for lunch.
Rise Against Hunger: An Opportunity to Package more Meals — January 25
Because of a shortage of vitamin packets, we were not able to complete our meal packaging for Rise Against Hunger on November 9, 2024. We will have an opportunity to finish the job on January 25 at the Ashburn, VA warehouse, 44645 Guilford Dr #210, Ashburn VA. There will be a box assembly session for 20 people at 12:30 PM and a meal packaging session beginning at 1:00 PM for 80 people, followed by a clean-up session. The warehouse cannot accommodate more than 80 people so register as soon as possible. You can register here. When you register, make certain your email is correct in the event we have to deal with inclement weather. Thank you.
Redeemer Renaissance Preschool and After-School Registration 2025-2026
Returning families may register January 13th- 17th
It’s time! Church and community families with children 1.5 – 12 years of age are welcome to register for the 2025-26 school year! Families with enrolled children returning for 2025-26 may register January 13th -17th. Waitlist Priority and new families may register January 20th – 24th.
