Redfish & Leprechauns in Steinhatchee!

This past weekend we had the pleasure of hosting the Power Pole Pro Fishing Tournament which guaranteed $20K for first place redfish. Anglers came from all over the state and GA to fish out of Steinhatchee and return to the docks with two live redfish. More than 100 redfish were caught, weighed-in, and safely released back to swim another day! Below are photos and the winner results from the tournament.

This FRIDAY, March 17th, St. Patrick's Day, we will be serving up some yummy GREEN drinks at our tiki bar 7am-6pm! We will also be serving them on Saturday for the same hours. Don't miss out on the Finnegan's Wake Parade in Steinhatchee on Saturday along with BINGO at 10:30am right here at Sea Hag Marina!

Teena and Allen Garland got close to their limit of sheepshead this weekend! They caught them on fiddler crabs and lie shrimp.

We have fiddler crabs at the marina! $12.00 a cup!

We also have lots of LIVE SHRIMP! Piapa and his little helper, Miss Brecklyn, are happy to scoop them out for you!

Sea Hag Marina will be hosting BINGO Saturday morning 10:30am-11:30am! Don't miss out on the fun!

The Finnegan's Wake Parade will be on Saturday starting noon at Sea Hag Marina and ending at Fiddler's Restaurant for a fun St. Patrick's Day celebration!

Tim Finnegan, born "with a love for the liquor", falls from a ladder, breaks his skull, and is thought to be dead. The mourners at his wake become rowdy, and spill whiskey over Finnegan's corpse, causing him to come back to life and join in the celebrations. Whiskey causes both Finnegan's fall and his resurrection—whiskey is derived from the Irish phrase uisce beatha (pronounced [ˈɪʃcə ˈbʲahə]), meaning "water of life".

Wear green and come join in the funeral procession from Sea Hag Marina to Fiddler's Restaurant.
