Covering some of the finest and most iconic areas of Namibia, Wings over Namibia is a flying safari that showcases the legendary dunes of Sossusvlei, the rugged topography of the Damaraland and Kaokoveld region with its desert-adapted elephant, as well as the wildlife of Etosha National Park and surrounds. The camps are set within private concessions and Wilderness Air transfers guests seamlessly between destinations.
Namibia is the epitome of open space: our concessions offer an incredible 30 230 hectares (74 700 acres) per guest! It is home to diverse and unique biomes like the Namib, the oldest desert in the world, the shimmering saltpans of Etosha and equally fascinating local cultures.

Days 1-2 | Little Kulala - Kulala Wilderness Reserve, Sossusvlei
Depart from Windhoek by air and enjoy awe-inspiring views of the mountains and the desert floor. Spend two nights exploring the Sossusvlei region, staying in the Kulala Wilderness Reserve, which provides convenient access to the splendour of the towering red dunes of the Namib. Activities at Little Kulala start with morning guided game drives to the spectacular dunes of Sossusvlei and include a visit to the fascinating Sesriem Canyon, scenic sundowners and hot air balloon excursions (at extra cost; weather dependent).
Days 3-4 | Damaraland Camp - Torra Conservancy, Damaraland
Leave the sandy dunes with a scenic flight over the Namib Desert for a different perspective of the "dune sea". After flying along a section of coastline to Swakopmund where we land for refuelling, we head inland to the flat-topped mountains and fascinating riverbeds of northern Damaraland for two nights at Damaraland Camp. Damaraland Camp is famous for its diverse compliment of desert-adapted wildlife, especially elephant, and its highly successful partnership with the local Torra community.
Days 5-6 | Ongava Tented Camp or Ongava Lodge - Ongava Game Reserve, Etosha National Park
On to Ongava Game Reserve on your scheduled air transfer by light aircraft. The flight reveals the considerable contrast of the stark and rocky scenery of Damaraland and the Kaokoveld and the richer woodland areas and grassy plains of wildlife-rich Ongava and Etosha. Stay for two nights at either Ongava Tented Camp or Ongava Lodge. Intimate Ongava Tented Camp is hidden in the west of the Reserve and overlooks a waterhole to which a plethora of wildlife congregate to drink. Ongava Lodge is scenically nestled around a rocky outcrop and overlooks the vast plains beyond plus a productive waterhole that is floodlit at night.

Days 4-6 | Luwi Camp - South Luangwa
An unspoiled wilderness of tranquil rivers, ancient forests and open pans, this region offers excellent game viewing. Expect world class predator action, large herds of elephants, endemic species, and superb sightings og leopards, wild dog and lions.
Days 7-9 | Chongwe Camp - Lower Zambezi
Flanked by the Zambezi Escarpment and the mighty Zambezi River, the forested valley of the Lower Zambezi is a haven for abundant birds and wildlife. The region is especially wonderful for large elephant herds, diverse birdlife and wild dog. With the stunning landscapes, this is a great region for photographers.

Days 1-4 | Victoria Alfred Hotel - Cape Town
Resting at the confluence of the Indian and Atlantic oceans, situated between the slopes of the iconic Table Mountain and the glistening sapphire waters of Table Bay, the exceptionally scenic city of Cape Town is in a class of its own. Whether you are eager to hike the Panorama Route with its breathtaking views and impressive waterfalls, visit the Shangana Cultural Village, or horse ride along the banks of the magnificent Sabie River, Hazyview has something for just about everyone.
Days 9-10 | Victoria Falls Safari Club - Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Resting on the southern banks of the Zambezi River at the western end of the eponymous falls, this popular tourist town is compact enough to walk around and makes an ideal base for travellers exploring the seventh wonder of the world, the unfathomably vast Victoria Falls. About two-thirds of the falls can be viewed from the Zimbabwean side and, while the falls are undoubtedly the star attraction, the area provides both adventure seekers and sightseers with plenty of opportunities to warrant a longer stay. Popular activities include scenic flights over the falls in helicopters or microlights, bungee jumping off the Victoria Falls Bridge, white-water rafting (seasonal), and day trips to Chobe National Park.

Day 1 | Kigali Serena Hotel - Kigali
Arrival of your flight at Kigali International Airport. Meet and Greet assistance. You will be handed over to and warmly welcomed by our Uber Luxe Safaris representative outside customs and immigration hall. Transfer to your hotel. Have briefing about your safari at the lobby.
Days 2-4 | Magashi Camp - Akagera National Park
Depart Kigali and head into Akagera National Park. Enjoy a morning boat ride and an afternoon game drive.
The boat excursion on Lake Ihema will take you to the island that is inhabitant to several species of birds. Lining the lakes are some of the continent's densest concentrations of water birds, while the connecting marshes are the haunt of the endangered and exquisite papyrus gonolek, and the bizarre shoebill stork - the latter perhaps the most eagerly sought of all African birds.
The game drive in Akagera National Park provides you with the opportunity to view gentle hills blending beautifully with lowland swamps and water bodies. Akagera National park is a home for animals like elephant buffalo, Giraffe, zebra and more than a dozen types of antelope inhabit the park, most commonly the handsome chestnut-coated impala, but also the diminutive oribi and secretive bushbuck, as well as the ungainly tsessebe and the world's largest antelope, the statuesque Cape eland.
Days 4-6 | Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge - Volcanoes National Park
Volcanoes National Park is the Rwandan section of the great volcanic massif called the Virunga Mountains that straddles the borders of Rwanda, Uganda and the DRC. And the gorilla tracking safaris in Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park are among the best in Africa.
Rwanda is now home to twelve habituated groups of mountain gorillas that are scattered all over Volcanoes National Park. Gorilla trekking can be arduous - some of the groups wander high up the mountainsides - but it is always utterly rewarding. Volcanoes National Park also has a historic connection with gorilla conservation.
Days 6-8 | One & Only Nyungwe House - Nyungwe
Make your way to Nyungwe for chimpanzee trekking and canopy walks.
Today, you will get your packed breakfast and, drive to the park headquarters for chimpanzee trek briefing and formalities and then to the evergreen forest for a great experience. Luckily you may be welcomed by chimp morning calls deep in the forest upon encountering the chimps, you will be allowed to stay in their presence for one hour as you enjoy their acrobats, feeding life and their day today behaviors.
Experience the rainforest from a dazzling new perspective - on the famous Canopy Walkway. These are black with white ornaments and in case you observe them with in the forest as you track them, you will be amazed how large the group is, these are over 350 to 400 individuals in a group comprising the largest group of the Angolan Colobus Monkeys in Africa. The trek of these monkeys is not as tireless as the chimpanzee trek tends to be and the pure number of them with in the tree tops, the chat of this group delights the guests including their messy eating habits that also help spread the seed of the fruit that they are eating in the forest.

Day 1-3 | Vumbura Plains North - Okavango Delta
Depart Maun for Vumbura Plains North in the Okavango Delta. Situated in the northwestern corner of Botswana, the Okavango Delta is a World Heritage Site as it is the largest inland delta in the world. The magnificent Okavango River sprawls out over the dry sands of the Kalahari Desert forming this flourishing waterlogged oasis featuring countless meandering waterways and crystal clear lagoons studded with water lilies, as well as fertile floodplains and reeded islands inhabited with abundant wildlife. The Okavango Delta stretches over 15000 square kilometres. Commonly spotted animals include: lion, rhino, leopard, giraffe, hippos, elephants, crocodiles and countless species of bird.
There is no better way of viewing game and exploring the Okavango than by traditional mokoro (dugout canoe). Take to the skies in style and soar silently over the rich ecosystem of the Okavango Delta in a hot air balloon.
Days 4-6 | Abu Camp - Okavango Delta
Game drives in the enormous private concession traverse wonderfully varied landscapes and give you the
best opportunities to view and photograph birds, predators, and herds of elephant and buffalo at close quarters. Early mornings and late afternoons are generally the best times to see wildlife, as animals are generally more active when it's cooler.
Opt to partake in elephant conservation efforts. The whole premise on which Abu is based is that of elephant conservation. The great paradox of elephant conservation is that while many African countries are experiencing rapidly declining elephant populations, others - such as Botswana - must cope with burgeoning numbers. The Abu Herd members are eloquent ambassadors for elephant conservation, and several elephants have been reintroduced to the wild, where they continue to provide valuable data to local researchers and conservationists. Several of these elephants have remained in the Abu concession, and cause much delight all round when their wanderings bring them close to camp. You will soon form a deep and enduring connection to each elephant - a sense of belonging which is both humbling and uplifting.
Days 7-9 | Mombo Camp - Moremi Game Reserve
Make your way to Mombo Camp in the Moremi Game Reserve. Situated in the east of the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve ranks as one of the most beautiful reserves in Africa. A range of luxury lodges in the reserve offers visitors the perfect base to experience this corner of paradise.
The Mombo Concession, home to Mombo, Mombo Trails, and Little Mombo, sits on the North Eastern tip of Chiefs Island inside the Moremi Game Reserve, the centre of the Okavango Delta. Often referred to as the predator capital of Africa, the Mombo Concession hosts phenomenal concentrations of Africa's famous 'Big Five' in one of the most beautiful parts of Africa. The game viewing here is well regarded as some of the finest in Africa. Game surrounds camp at all times of the year with the Mombo concession being one of the very few places in Africa to provide world class game viewing throughout all the seasons. Despite Mombo Camp being inside the Moremi Game Reserve where night drives are not allowed, the game viewing is exceptionally good, so good that you don't even need to leave the camp to see something spectacular.
