CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES - Week of June 7
Construction on the 9-mile Arrow corridor is 90% complete. Construction of the bridges, station platforms, and grade crossings are 100% complete.

Crews are working on installing pedestrian gates and railings at the grade crossings as well as perimeter fencing along the corridor; final surfacing and leveling (grinding) the track; installing light poles, security cameras, and signage at the stations; and preparing for train testing.

  • Tennessee Street at the rail crossing will be closed Sunday, June 6 from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for crews to perform paving. Detour routes will be posted.
  • Crews continue to work on Park Avenue improvements weekdays 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A local detour is posted and sends traffic north around Sylvan Park.
  • Intermittent daytime (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) lane closures will occur on local streets including Waterman Avenue, Nevada Street, Tennessee Street, Eureka Street, Orange Street, and 6th Street. Through travel/two-way travel will remain at all times at each location.

Crews are pre-testing the roadway and pedestrian gates at the rail crossings weekdays 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., through June. Flaggers are onsite to assist traffic through the rail crossings. Please plan ahead and expect one to three minute delays at the crossings during testing.

At times, work throughout the corridor may be loud and cause vibration. Please remember construction is dynamic and the schedule is subject to change.
