Reduced Policy Premiums with Treefort IDV

Coming July 1:

We are excited to announce that starting July 1, 2024, a $25 premium reduction will be applied to residential and commercial orders when a Treefort Identity Verification (IDV) has been completed for each borrower or purchaser in the transaction^†.

As you may know, Stewart Title has been covering the cost of Treefort IDVs as part of the free-trial offer that began in February 2023. During this time, it has proven to be a thorough and effective title fraud mitigation tool for thousands of legal professionals across Canada.

On June 30, this free-trial period will end and Treefort’s rate will be $25 per IDV via a Treefort account or $30 per IDV via their KYC On-Demand option.

While the free-trial period is ending, our trust in Treefort is not. In fact, this premium reduction reflects our unwavering confidence in Treefort’s technology and recognizes your efforts in mitigating the risk of title fraud. It will also help offset against the cost of verifying client identity with Treefort once the free trial concludes.

Instructions on how to obtain the reduced premium will be provided at the time of release.
