LOWER YOUR PROPERTY TAXES

Many Pasadena rental property owners have reported significant declines in property value due to increased operating expenses, higher mortgage rates, and the rent regulations imposed by Measure H.

There are currently two opportunities for you to reduce your property tax bill.

1) Decline in Value Review

Check your property tax bill to see if the assessed value exceeds the current market value of your property. If it does, you can apply for a Decline in Value reduction through the Los Angeles County Assessor’s Office.

The deadline is November 30th. Act quickly to get the tax reduction you deserve. Information is available on the Los Angeles County Assessor's Office website, here.

2) Eaton Fire Damage Relief

You are also eligible for a temporary reduction in property taxes if your property sustained over $10,000 of damage during the Eaton Fire.

The deadline is January 6, 2026 (12 months from the date of damage). Information and forms can be found here.

RENT REGULATION COVERS ALL RENTALS

Despite activists' claims when they solicited votes for Measure H, the RSD demands registration and a fee of $238 per year for ALL rented houses, condos and ADU's.

Please feel free to forward this email to other property owners and encourage them to sign up on our website to receive our weekly emails. We will never share contact info.

In order to restore and protect property rights in Pasadena, we are asking property owners of all types to donate $10 per month per unit. For $120 per unit per year, we can help property owners and tenants in Pasadena enjoy a more sustainable and affordable rental housing industry in the decades to come.

Will you please join us?
