Redwood City Together hosted its annual Spring Celebration on Monday, May 18th in the Community Room at the Redwood City Public Library, bringing together 35 community partners to celebrate the accomplishments and impact of the Neighborhood Action Team (NAT) throughout the past year. The event created a space for partners to reflect on the collaborative work accomplished together, strengthen relationships, and celebrate the dedication of organizations committed to serving the Redwood City and North Fair Oaks communities.

Throughout the afternoon, attendees enjoyed interactive games such as Charades and Guess That Song, shared meals and conversations, and celebrated the strong sense of collaboration that has continued to grow within the NAT group. The celebration highlighted the importance of creating spaces where partners can connect, learn from one another, and recognize the meaningful impact of collective community work.

Through six convenings this year, the Neighborhood Action Team not only enhanced community workforce, transportation, medical, and food access programs, but also nurtured stronger collaborative relationships among partners. NAT members also had the opportunity to apply to an exclusive youth employment grant which will create 35 youth jobs this summer. Through this collective space, Redwood City Together also offered free professional development opportunities and technical assistance to partners collaborating on event co-creation, helping strengthen community-driven initiatives and long-term partnerships.

Redwood City Together organizó su celebración anual de primavera el lunes 18 de mayo en la Biblioteca Pública de Redwood City, reuniendo a 35 socios comunitarios para celebrar los logros y el impacto del Neighborhood Action Team (NAT) a lo largo del último año. El evento creó un espacio para que los socios reflexionaran sobre el trabajo colaborativo realizado conjuntamente, fortalecieran sus relaciones y celebraran la dedicación de las organizaciones comprometidas con el servicio a las comunidades de Redwood City y North Fair Oaks.

A lo largo de la tarde, los asistentes disfrutaron de juegos interactivos —tales como la mímica y "Adivina la canción"—, compartieron comidas y conversaciones, y celebraron el sólido espíritu de colaboración que ha seguido creciendo dentro del grupo NAT. La celebración destacó la importancia de crear espacios donde los socios puedan conectar, aprender unos de otros y reconocer el significativo impacto del trabajo comunitario colectivo.

A través de seis reuniones convocadas este año, NAT no solo mejoró los programas comunitarios de fuerza laboral, transporte, atención médica y acceso a alimentos, sino que también fomentó relaciones de colaboración más sólidas entre los socios. Los miembros de NAT también tuvieron la oportunidad de solicitar una subvención exclusiva para el empleo juvenil, la cual creará 35 puestos de trabajo para jóvenes este verano. A través de este espacio colectivo, Redwood City Together también ofreció oportunidades gratuitas de desarrollo profesional y asistencia técnica a los socios que colaboran en la co-creación de eventos, contribuyendo así a fortalecer las iniciativas impulsadas por la comunidad y las alianzas a largo plazo.
