The Foundation recently approved multiple grants to the Applied Technology department! Studio 304 will benefit from new flooring, paint, moveable desks, chairs and materials needed to build drones, remote-control vehicles, robots, and other projects. In addition, funding includes new laptops capable of running architectural and engineering software as well as a large-format laser cutter to enable students to showcase their designs using the latest technology found in college classrooms and industry work places.

Thanks to the support of our community, these upgrades will benefit the hundreds of students in Redwood’s growing Architecture and Engineering classes and clubs and provide them with a space that allows for collaboration and the most up to date technology.

GIANT appreciation to our Benchwarmers Board Member, Kevin Vasquez and the entire Benchwarmers team who work tirelessly to support ALL 45 of our Freshman, JV and Varsity Redwood Sports Teams. With 100% of funding coming from the Foundation, Benchwarmers oversees athletic allocations for the Foundation and ensures that our teams have everything they need to succeed — from uniforms and equipment to new ice machines and scoreboards!
