Happy April to you all!
Springtime is upon us and with it brings a new version of our Website. It was quietly launched in a “lite” version about a week ago and it has a new, bright and clean feel to it. It’s not finished yet but has links to events and our calendar. The finished version will be up and running very soon so check it out! Additionally, if you are an experienced web developer and would like to assist in keeping our website up to date, I would love to talk with you. Please reach out to me directly and we can talk.

But doesn’t it feel more like summer with the weather we have been having in the Redwood Region? April 4th was another picture-perfect weather day as I joined over 50 members of the region at the 40th Anniversary celebration of Hi-Tec Automotive in San Rafael. Hi-Tec has been a fabulous sponsor of our region since 1985 and its owner, Deven Wailes, is a longtime member of the PCA. It was a great turnout of friends who were treated to an outstanding catered meal from El Coyote food truck of Sonoma.
| |
Door prizes were awarded as we had a short presentation from Deven and Sales Manager, Greg Maissen, who is also a Redwood Past President. As I departed the event, I thanked Deven for hosting the day and he said, “Hey, let’s do it again in another 40!” If you need repairs or you are looking to either sell or buy a Porsche, Hi-Tec is a great place to visit.
| | |
More photos from the Hi-Tec event can be found on the Flickr Page.
There are two upcoming mid-week driving tours on our April calendar. On the 22nd, you can join other Redwood Region members for the Gracianna Winery tour for lunch and wine tasting in the beautiful West Dry Creek Valley near Healdsburg! There will be a two-hour back roads drive, wine tasting, and a gourmet box lunch from Healdsburg's Costeaux French Bakery for one low price! Our mid-week events have become quite popular, and this one will sell out fast. You can get more information and register at https://msreg.com/Gracianna2026.
Then on the 30th, it’s once again time for the Charity Adventure VI. We’ll meet in Santa Rosa at 8AM and take an optional 1 hour driving tour that will lead us to the Redwood Empire Food Bank for a 3-hour shift working in the warehouse to help the hungry of our North Bay Counties. After our shift you will be hosted by our region for a lunch at Barley & Bine Beer Café in Windsor. It’s an extremely rewarding day and I hope to see you there. Register at https://msreg.com/CharityCircle26.
In mid-April our neighboring Sacramento Valley Region PCA is hosting “CRAB” (Crab feed, Rally, Autocross and Begegnen, which is German for gathering) at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Wheatland, near Sacramento. My wife Katherine and I are attending and have the honor to assist PCA Artist Kelly Telfer with one segment of the event as Kelly leads a group of aspiring artists as they paint Porsches on canvas. The event is sold out and will be great fun!
I would like to ask for your input. Do you realize that our region goes all the way to the Oregon border? I’m thinking of so many ways that we can involve the entire region in our events. How does a weekend in the Humboldt and Del Norte Counties sound with a Cars & Coffee in Crescent City, a dinner in Eureka, with drives in-between? It’s an area that we haven’t traveled to in some time. So, feel free to contact me with anything that is on your mind for our region. Any ideas, events or your concerns are all welcome. You can reach me at redwoodpcapres@gmail.com.
In closing, it’s an honor to be your President and we are always looking for volunteers to help our region, and I would love to have you join us at a monthly Board meeting, which are held on the last Tuesday of every month at Torches Restaurant in Petaluma starting at 6:30PM. We would like to see you there and your dinner will be on us! Hope to see you soon.

I enjoyed my first DE event with Golden Gate Region on March 21st at Thunderhill Raceway Park. My Cayman performed well, and I kept up with the GT3s and GT4s around Thunderhill East’s 15 corners (though in the novice yellow group, perhaps that's not saying much!). Redwood Region’s Gabe Pack and his Martini-livery 718 Cayman GTS also attended. After the weekend with my instructor, Jeff Kreutzer of Diablo Region, I had a better understanding of the track, my car, and myself as a driver. I also had a chance to meet many members of Zone 7, both experienced and highly-competitive drivers and total rookies. The weekend also featured PCA Club Racing drivers lapping their spec-Boxsters and 911 Cup cars in three Sprint Races. Talk about goals!
| | Trying to keep my eyes up and ahead! | | | |
GGR’s next DE is May 2-3 at Buttonwillow, and Diablo Region is running a DE there the day before (May 1).
That same weekend, Redwood Region (5/3) and Sacramento Valley Region (5/2) will host our first Autocross of the year at Thunderhill! Sign up for both AX events, registration closes on April 29th.
As the Riesenbaum editor, I am continuing to focus on our members. This issue features 4 der Scheinwerfer new member bios, the story of IMSA Historic Endurance Champion and recent Redwood transfer-in Ag Agretelis, and member Devyn Evrist's innovative and scent-sible product! Have a read, and if you've got a story to tell, email me!

Have you ever walked into a party, gathering or Porsche Club event, for the first time, and you didn’t know a soul? I have! A few years ago, a local country club in Santa Rosa held two open-house events to solicit new members... Kathleen and I attended both Friday night mixers complete with cocktails and club music at poolside. We sported our “Hello My Name Is…” badges broadcasting that we were prospective members.
Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails in hand, we stood there conversing with our “sponsors” / good friends from our neighborhood… I’ll let you guess how many members made the effort to approach us, chat us up and make us feel welcome. And, who knows, perhaps we would have joined the club. Well, in two weeks, not ONE person approached us – a little embarrassing with our glaring “prospective” name tags on. We didn’t and never will consider joining this club again!
My point? Brad Williams has done an outstanding job as Membership Director, and we’ve enjoyed unprecedented new member growth in the Redwood Region. New members have been attending our events in record numbers over the past few months. We do a pretty good job of approaching them, welcoming them and making them feel at home.
A pretty good job – we can do better! Kurt Fischer, past President and Event Chair Extraordinaire, has a rule that he lives by: “Work the Room”! Kurt rarely stands or sits idly at our events. He wanders the crowd, room, etc., seeking out new members. He does a great job by the way.
Please follow Kurt’s lead at our future events. Our new members have interesting stories that are a joy to listen to. I know it’s easy to mingle with old friends but how fun it is to make new, future old friends… Personally, I will take Kurt’s advice and try to do a better job at making our new members feel at home – who knows, maybe they’ll come back for future events?
Mark your calendar:
Looks like we’ve landed on a venue for our 2026 Redwood Holiday Party! The event will be on December 11th, 2026, at Torches Restaurant in Petaluma. This centrally located venue has welcomed us with open arms by hosting our Board meetings for the last two years and is excited about hosting our Holiday Party. Our band will, once again, be “Void Where Prohibited” to help us dance the night away. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more details!
| | Redwood Region is Headed to PECLA! | | |
We've secured a group visit to the Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles on Thursday, July 30th. If you've never been, PECLA promises the most fun you'll have driving in LA – a chance to refine your skills and unleash the full performance of the car. Bring your own car or drive one of theirs.
Drive down or fly – your call. There may be a caravan forming for those who want to make the drive part of the experience.
The group rate makes this one worth doing, and an LA weekend has a way of filling itself out. The Petersen is already on the agenda; a few other options are still being finalized.
Interested? Details are still coming together, but contact Jeff Hall to get on the list.

Tell us about yourself
I'm a Sonoma county native who's been an avid motorcycle rider for the last 35 years. I'm a big fan of the variety of roads available to me for 50 miles in any direction.
What do you drive?
A 2006 Cayman S. This is my first Porsche and my first "sports car." I wanted something that handled well and I've always been a fan of lightweight 2-seaters and the Cayman matched my requirements perfectly. After about 6 months of following auctions on Bring-a-Trailer I pulled the trigger on this car.
Why did you join PCA?
I joined PCA to try and get involved in some of the track and autocross events in my area. I'm not interested in competing; I just want to be able to have fun and be able push the car a little harder than I'm comfortable doing on public roads.

Tell us about yourself
I'm new to the area. I moved to Healdsburg from Colorado recently (although I'm still splitting time between California and Colorado for now). I work in tech but am also a professional photo-grapher and artist. For my photography I shoot cars, landscapes, architecture, products, and people (no weddings please lol).
What do you drive?
I have a few cars but my first and only Porsche is 1993 968. I'm the 3rd owner and have had it about 5 years. It's not very fast but is extremely fun to drive and I almost use it as a daily driver these days because I just really like driving it any chance I get.
Why did you join PCA?
I've been thinking about joining the PCA since I got it and it originally came with a ton of PCA window stickers. But finally joining because of being new to area, I don't know much about the area or many people. Plus the mechanic I take it to in Santa Rosa offers a discount for PCA members, which is nice.
What else would you like other members to know about you?

Tell us about yourself
I’m sure I am no different than the average club member, except a probably a bit less handsome, young and dashing.
I am a retired airline pilot, and recently retired again from my follow on gig as a private jet pilot. I can’t imagine a better or different career. It was perfect for me. I’m not over it, so I keep a little airplane just so I can scratch that itch when needed.
What do you drive?
My Porsche is a 2022 Cayenne Turbo S e-hybrid. No, not a 911, but nevertheless a full on fire breathing twin turbo V-8 dragon disguised as a mild mannered SUV. I like the wolf in sheep’s clothing aspect of the car. I can depart the neighborhood silently under electric power, and on the open road let the big dog eat. All in total comfort of course.
I remember looking at Porsches as a kid with my Dad in the 1960’s. We marveled at how a car could cost $8000. I had wanted one ever since, but instead starting with the Bavaria, the family had a string of BMWs. I even imported a gray market 3.0CSi at one point. The BMWs are so nice, so perfect they just seem to disappear when under way. But oh my, the Porsche goes beyond just being perfect. It actively gives back an almost palpable and addictive joy. There is no going back.
Why did you join PCA?
I’ve had the Cayenne coming up on a couple of years now. I joined the PCA because I think it’s time to focus on finding the perfect for me 911. Learning about them is like peeling an onion. There are layers and layers of specs, options, considerations, and history. The more I discover, the more complex and fun the search has become. I have also had to be honest with myself. For example, even though looking at a 993 makes me melt, in reality my use case points to a more modern maybe less collectible car. The hard part is resisting upselling myself.
In the meantime I’ve been to a few Cars and Coffee events. Everyone has been super friendly and relaxed. It’s a nice crowd.
What else would you like other members to know about you?
When I find my second Porsche, it will probably be a 997.2 C4S MT, or maybe a 991.1 C4S MT, or a 991.1 4 GTS MT, or a 991.2 Turbo S. And it will have the perfect color, with the perfect specs. Whatever it is, I’m sure it will make me handsomer, younger, and more dashing. Just like all the PCA members before me.

New Member, Novato
Tell us about yourself
I’m based in Novato and have spent most of my career in the building industry. I own & operate Masters Woodworking Inc., which has been crafting luxury high-end residential interiors for over 35 years. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in wine country, connecting with people, and of course, anything involving cars.
What do you drive?
I currently drive a 2023 911 Carrera S Cabriolet—this is actually my second Carrera convertible. I’ve always appreciated Porsche for the balance it strikes between performance, design, and everyday usability, and the Cabriolet adds another dimension to the experience. There’s something hard to beat about driving with the top down, especially through the backroads in Marin and Napa.
Why did you join PCA?
I joined the PCA to connect with other enthusiasts who share an appreciation for the brand and the driving experience. Being part of a community that values both the cars and the relationships around them is something I really enjoy.
What else would you like other members to know about you?
I’m also a member of the Napa Valley Car Club, and I’ve always enjoyed being around people who are passionate about cars and craftsmanship. I’m looking forward to getting more involved with the PCA Redwood Region and meeting fellow members at upcoming events.

Autocross Chair
Redwood's first autocross of the season is coming up on Sunday, May 3, on the skid pad at Thunderhill Raceway. It's a joint weekend with sister region SVR – come for one event or both.
These are Zone 7 events, so if you're chasing Zone points, you won't want to miss them. If you're not, it's still a great opportunity to come out and see what your car can do on a safe course made of cones. If you're new (or a little rusty), instructors are available.
Registration is open now!
ESCA will also be hosting a local autocross in Sonoma on Saturday of the same weekend. Check their site for registration details – it usually opens about two weeks before the event. Since I'll be at Thunderhill in May, I hope to see you at ESCA in June.
Any questions? Email me.

| | Sat, Mar 21 | Sat, Aug 1 | | Sat, May 2 | Sat, Sep 5 | | Sat, Jun 6 | Sun, Nov 1 | | | Members In the News - David "Ag" Agretelis, 2025 HSR Classic Endurance Champion | | From the Editor: David "Ag" Agretelis is a recent transfer from Diablo Region who, in 2025, achieved substantial success in the IMSA Historic Sportscar Racing Classic Endurance Championship. In his 901 Shop 1972 No. 166 Porsche 911 S/T, Ag was the 2025 HSR Classic Endurance Championship Vintage GT Champion and HSR's Driver of the Year. The below article from IMSA News details his incredible journey. | | |
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. 12/14/25 – The only thing more consistent than the career-best performance winning driver David Agretelis delivered during the 2025 HSR season was the ever-present smile on his face. Agretelis enjoys the great competition and close camaraderie in HSR as much as anyone, and his endless positive energy certainly contributed to his HSR Classic Endurance Championship Vintage GT title in 2025 in his 901 Shop 1972 No. 66 Porsche 911 S/T.
“This was absolutely my most successful season with HSR to date,” Agretelis said. “One need only look at the results since my first race with HSR in 2017. I moved to HSR to explore the opportunity to race legendary tracks across the country. I was immediately inspired by the depth of competition and the camaraderie I found racing in Groups 3 and 5 across the board in the sprints, Sasco Sports Challenge, B.R.M Endurance Challenge the HSR Classics. I forged lasting relationships throughout the paddock with my competitors, receiving tips and encouragement from the legends along the way.”
| | |
After years of coming so close, Agretelis secured his first HSR Classic victory last March in the season-opening HSR Classic Sebring 12 Hour presented by Mission Foods. He continued to roll throughout the HSR Classic Endurance Championship presented by Mission Foods season, winning in VGT again at the HSR Classic Watkins Glen Six Hour presented by Mission Foods and the series-ending HSR Classic Daytona 24 Hour presented by Mission Foods in November.
“I joined the 901 Shop in 2022 and focused everything I had on the top step,” Agretelis said. “At 901, I not only found a winning team, but I found family for life. Everything came together in 2025 with an extraordinary run, thanks to my Crew Chief, Jeffrey Li and everybody at the 901 Shop.”
His lone non-victory still netted a podium VGT finish in the HSR Classic Road Atlanta presented by Mission Foods in September. With his three wins and podium showing, Agretelis produced one of the best race-finish records of the debut HSR Classic Endurance Championship presented by Mission Foods season.
| | |
“When I learned of the Mission Endurance Championship I was psyched,” Agretelis said. “I knew we had a chance, and when we won the overall at Sebring, and then again at Watkins Glen, our dream started to take shape. With my crew chief absent at Road Atlanta, we faltered but still finished on the podium. Daytona was ours to lose and we brought it home.”
Agretelis didn’t let up on his amazing season after the Daytona Classic Endurance finale. He went on to this month’s season-ending race at Sebring where another winning weekend and the season culminated with Agretelis being named Driver of the Year, an award many consider HSR’s most prestigious honor.
“The Classic Endurance championship was the culmination of 20 years of commitment and dedication to not just racing but winning,” Agretelis said. “Driver of the Year came as a total surprise, and I am humbled and proud to join my teammates and all HSR predecessors in this prestigious recognition. Together, the Endurance Championship and Driver of the Year represent the achievement of my racing lifetime.”
| | Smells Like Horsepower - Flat Six Candle Company | | |
Article by Connor Newton
Redwood Region member Devyn Evrist started making candles as a personal hobby and for gifts for friends and family.
| |
“My husband and I felt like a lot of candles were missing the feeling of being around cars. Why don’t we try to play with the scents and see if we can come up with something that smells more like a car, like being in a garage?”
Leather was an obvious first ingredient because that relates to a vehicle’s interior. But they also wanted it to smell like a garage – raw and mechanical, but still refined enough to live in your home.
“We kept going each night. We’d say ‘what about a little bit of this, and a little bit of that.’ We’d mix in things that you’d never think would make sense. And one day it just worked. We smelled it and went that’s it – we’ve got it.”
Devyn held off on the garage candle for about a year while working on other candles for her parents’ retail store, but then an opportunity presented itself through the PCA.
Evrist originally purchased her Cayenne S E-Hybrid from her parents, who were worried about the car’s hybrid powertrain.
| | |
“I fell in love with the car while they had it. Me and my husband were looking for a second car, and we said ‘let’s just buy it from them because we're not scared of the hybrid battery.’”
Soon after, she joined PCA Redwood Region. At the Porsche Marin Luncheon, Devyn approached General Manager Kyle Festog, candle in hand, and allowed him to take a whiff.
“He smelled it and looked at me and was like ‘How did you do this?’ And that made me feel really good.”
Flat Six Candle Company was born, and Devyn began showing her candles at Porsche Marin’s monthly Motor Social in Strawberry Village. At her first event, people were hesitant. But once people started approaching the table, they were instantly engaged.
Word is spreading, and she will host a table at the August 10th Porsche Monterey Classic Event and at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
“It’s almost the same reaction with every person. They’re like ‘How did you do it? This smells like being in my garage!’ One person said, ‘This is delightfully dirty,’ and another girl was like, ‘I want my whole house to smell like this.’”
The candles themselves aren’t specific to any brand. In fact, Harley riders have expressed interest in the scent; Devyn notes that it’s less about the brand, and more about the drive. But she decided on the Flat Six name because Porsches are where her heart lies.

For the second year in a row, Sheldon Donig has been kind enough to open his Collector’s Museum for the Redwood Region. For the second time in as many years, jaws were dropping and heads were swiveling with all that was there to be seen.
If not unique, it is certainly an amazing assemblage of automotive history beginning with horseless carriages from the late 1890s up to a DeLorean from the early 1980s. On display were a Fiat and a Renault (complete with elephant hide fenders) from 1912. Other marques present from that bygone era included Schact, Portland, White, Baker, Maxwell, Leon Bollee, Chandler, Pierce-Arrow, Locomobile, Willys Overland and REO Speedwagon.

1950’s Detroit was well represented by a ’56 Continental Mk. II, a ’57 Chrysler 300C, a ’58 Imperial limousine, a ’59 Ford Skyliner and the always popular, huge finned, ’59 Cadillac El Dorado convertible.
Some Brits were there, too. Two Rolls-Royces, one from the 1930s and one from the 1970s, a little 1930 Austin 7, a 1953 Austin Countryman Woodie wagon and even an Amphicar from the 1960s.
Then, there were the purpose built vehicles, beginning with a World War I era Cadillac hearse, a Ford Model ‘T’ popcorn truck, the life sized Hot Wheels “Splittin’ Image” and the latest addition to the museum, a 1921 circus wagon with its nine foot tall mechanical walking man at the front.
| |
Of course there were vintage motorcycles as well. There was a full row of them in fact, including a 1924 Douglas and a 1922 AJS, to name a couple.
Moving on from transportation, the museum’s walls are filled with a potpourri of different collectibles including unsafe toys (including “My First Fire”), toy ovens, smiley faces, world’s fairs from all years, kewpie dolls, antique radios and cameras, statues of Ronald McDonald, Bob’s Big Boy, the red Mobil Oil winged horse… the list goes on and on!
| |
Some of the other remarkable “contraptions” to be seen were the fully operational mechanical bands. Especially of note, the automated swing band from the 1940s.
Probably the most impressive fact is that Sheldon not only does the acquisition for the museum, he also does the assembly/disassembly, maintenance and repair of all the vehicles and other things that are displayed.
The Collector’s Museum is filled with “eye candy” floor to ceiling… hundreds upon hundreds of interesting items everywhere to attract one’s attention and too many cool, unusual and fun things to be able to take it all in in a single afternoon!

| | Tech High Robotics Wins Big in Sacramento | | |
Article by Rick Duste
The Redwood Region sponsored Rohnert Park Cotati 35 member Tech High Robotics Team came away from the March 21 st California State High School Bot Battle Championships in Sacramento with three first place finishes. The students claimed 1st and 4th place in the premier 15-pound class, as well as 1 st place in both the Intermediate and Advanced brackets for the 1-pound, 3-D printed class. As a result, the Team has qualified to compete in the National Championship event in Colorado Springs in May.
|
| | | Angular Aggression, a vertical spinner design built with sponsorship help from Redwood Region last year, improved on its 2025 second place finish to take the Gold in 2026. The result of the students’ hard work and countless hours after school and on the weekends. With over 160 hours put into this robot this season alone, designing and making components, assembling, testing, and troubleshooting, the results speak for themselves. The bot won each match in the 3-minute double elimination format in less than 30 seconds barring one round where a burned microswitch rendered it out of commission. The Teams second 15-pound bot, Rev-3, finished 4 th making it to the final four. Had it won the semi the two Tech High bots would have been paired together for the final, creating a tenuous situation of potential damage to each other which could affect their performance in the future National Championship event. Rev-3 did win Most Destructive Bot aided by its damaging the arena itself during one match. The Team is working on correcting some drivability issues resulting from the torque of its newly designed 2026 before heading off for Colorado.
| | |
The Team also brought bots to compete in the intermediate and advance categories of 1-pound, 3D printed plastic bots. They took 1 st place in both categories as well as picking up “coolest bot” and “most destructive bot” awards as well.
Our Club has sponsored the high school team for two school years. The students are required to design and build the bots with no adult assistance. The school does not fund the team. They must be self-funded and thus have the task of generating donations and sponsorships to fund the costs for materials, parts and travel. The schools engineering teaching is the Team’s advisor and among other things ensures safety. Last years driver of Angular Aggression graduated is now attending the Colorado School of Mines in pursuit of an engineering career. The help from the Club supports students interested in engineering. They gain hands-on real-world experience designing and operating battery powered drive systems – directly relevant to the future direction in the automotive industry.
Congratulations Team, well done!

Sandy and Craig Steele have provided this club with a tremendous amount of time and dedication over the years. Craig served as club President in 2017 and 2018, and both have provided years of volunteerism and service.
In June 2025, Craig was diagnosed with grade 4 glioblastoma, the most aggressive form of brain cancer. The VA has linked this to Agent Orange exposure during his service in the Vietnam War.
Sandy has since been diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and is receiving care from her naturopath and Kaiser Oncologist.
After being our friends, our support, and beloved members of our community, it’s time that we unite around them as they experience raising medical bills that they have limited ability to pay.
So, I hope you will join me in contributing to this GoFundMe to help offset some of their medical expenses. Every little bit will help to reduce the burden they are experiencing and treasured as an expression of our love for them.
Please see the link for the GoFundMe here and keep Sandy and Craig in your thoughts.

As we try to do twice a year, our club will be helping out our neighbors by working another morning shift at the Redwood Empire Food Bank on Thursday April 30th. Just like before, we will have an optional one-hour driving tour starting in Windsor from 9-10, then an always-entertaining three-hour work shift from 10-1 at the Food Bank, followed by a hosted lunch at the fun Barley & Bine Beer Café in Windsor. You buy any alcoholic beverage while the club buys your food. Pro tips: I will order flatbreads in advance of our arrival at the Café like last time, and tacos are the fastest items on the menu for them to make, so strongly consider them in your order. This year’s driving route is brand new thanks to VP Jeff Hall! As of April 2nd, we still have 7 volunteer slots left to fill for our 23-member Team Redwood. Please register for it through our MSR link if you are interested. Registration will close April 23rd.
Unrelated to charity, but an event I’ve organized the last five years, is our Martorana Winery Tour, Tasting, Lunch, and (optionally) Bocce Ball event; this year it will be Sunday June 7th. Registration is open, limited to 50 attendees. We start at the tail end of the monthly Cars & Coffee at Vintage Oaks Shopping Center in Novato and enjoy a two-hour backroads driving tour before settling into the beautiful, quiet, and isolated grounds of the Martorana Family Winery in West Dry Creek Valley near Healdsburg. Terrific boxed lunches from Big John’s Deli are included as well as wine tastings. I hope you can make it.

Twenty-nine of our Redwood Region members will be celebrating their five year, or more, PCA Membership anniversaries in April. They are shown in the table to the left. For April, our longest tenured PCA member, by a long stretch, is Frank Massick. Frank joined PCA in 1975, and consequently, is celebrating 51 continuous years of belonging to Porsche Club of America. You can find Frank in Tahoe City brushing snow off of his 1986 911 Carrera, if it didn’t melt long ago.

BBS Classix 18" Staggered Set - 5×130 - 18x8.5 ET45 / 18x10 ET50 - Made in Germany
Set of rare BBS 2-piece forged wheels, commissioned in the late-1990s for a short-lived European Porsche tuner program. These are not modern reproductions — they feature forged BBS centers, multi-piece construction, and classic Fuchs-inspired design.
| | | |
Specs:
Front: 18x8.5 ET45 Rear: 18x10 ET50 Bolt pattern: 5x130
Construction: 2-piece, forged centers
Finish: Satin/matte black (repainted; originally black centers with polished lips)
- Includes all four rare BBS “Classix” center caps
Fitment notes:
- Previously run on a Porsche 964
- Well-suited for 964 (NB/WB), 993, and 986 Boxster applications depending on tire choice
- Rear widths/offsets give a proper wide-body stance without extreme spacers
Condition:
- Wheels are straight and true
- No visible weld repairs
- Lips are clean and undamaged
- Tires are mounted but aged and for transport only
- Finish is presentable if you like the blacked-out look; would also look excellent refinished to period-correct RSR/Fuchs style
These wheels are rarely seen in the U.S. and typically only surface in Europe. A comparable set sold through a well-known U.S. Porsche dismantler in 2023.
Location: Santa Rosa
Price: $2,700 OBO (PCA members welcome to inspect locally)
Local pickup preferred; shipping possible at buyer’s expense.
Happy to provide additional photos or measurements to serious buyers.
