Big Changes Happening

at RRHC

Redwoods Rural Health Center has been planning an interior remodel at both the Medical and Dental Buildings at 101 West Coast Road for the last year, and we’re excited to announce construction will start in the Medical Building April 25th!

Sequoia Constructions' crew will be remodeling the interior of the medical building in phases so that our team of exceptional healthcare providers can continue to serve our patients.

The first phase of construction will be in the center of the building, focused on creating a new hard ceiling to support the new HVAC system. Each phase of construction will include a new HVAC system, new flooring, new cabinetry for the exam rooms and pharmacy, new ADA compliant exam chairs, and fresh paint.

During Phase 1, from April 26th –July 1st, the main Medical Building entrance will be open, and all services will continue to be provided. We look forward to the remodel work and apologize for any noise during construction.

We will keep you updated on construction progress in our newsletter, Facebook and at rrhc.org

Video & Phone Visits continue to be Offered at RRHC

In January 2022, Medicare approved the extension of virtual (phone and video) visits for behavioral health and mental health services through the end of 2023. However, patients will need an annual in-person visit with their therapist at least once every 12 months starting after the Public Health Emergency.

Additionally, Medi-Cal has approved the extension of telehealth for both medical and behavioral health services through the end of 2022. Save on gas money and connect with your providers from the convenience of your home. Call 707-923-2783 to schedule your virtual visit today.
