Dear parents, guardians, and community partners:
It is hard for me to believe that we are nearing the final days of the school year!
We have an end-of-semester schedule that will be posted on our website (please note the change in schedule for June 6,7,8). Buses will be at RAHS by 12:15 pm on June 8.
This time of year brings so much joy because of the RAHS community and the greater Reedsburg community. I am grateful for all who step up throughout the year to support the work that our students are doing. The Class of 2023 commencement ceremony reminded me of all of the things our students do in and out of the classroom–and all of the great things that lie ahead for them.
We say thank you and farewell to those staff members who are retiring at the end of the school year: Mr. Judge, Mr. Gesteland, Mr. Gasser, and Mr. Yager. They have provided so much for RAHS students, and to the community, during their time at RAHS. They all have supported students in and out of the classroom, and each, in their own ways, have contributed to the successful, spirited culture that is Reedsburg Area High School. We will miss them greatly!
The work to prepare for the 2023-2024 school year is already underway. I hope that you all have a wonderful summer! Please take a moment to watch our final administrative team update here.

SUMMER HOURS
Starting on June 12th, the RAHS Main Office will be open during the following hours this summer:
- Monday - Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
- Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Offices will be closed on Monday, July 3, and Tuesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
The Guidance Office has limited hours. If the secretary or school counselors are not available, they will respond to voicemail and email inquiries on a regular basis.

Student Absence, Tardy, Leaving Early
If your student is going to be absent, tardy, or leaving early, please call the Reedsburg Area High School at (608) 768-8928 option 3 or email rahsattendance@rsd.k12.wi.us with the information. If you send a note with your student, please have them bring it to the office.
Medications
Both doctor prescribed medications and Over-the-Counter (OTC) medications that need to be given at school require a completed Medication Consent Form.
Visitors and Volunteers
Background checks must be on file seven (7) days before the event.
Flowers & Gifts
If a student receives flowers/gifts during the school day, they will not be delivered until the end of the day, so distractions do not happen in the classroom. Keep in mind that balloons and glass vases are not allowed on school buses.

Drop off and pick up of students
For everyone's safety, we ask that you follow this process: using one of the designated drop off and pick up points. The first designated site is located at the northwest side of the parking lot next to the motorcycle parking. The second site is the roundabout located on the southeast side of the school.
Do not use the bus lane to drop off and pick up students. This area is for busses only. This area is a no stopping, standing, or parking zone.
Please do not park on the northeast side of the school. The driveways are too narrow, and cars parked here cause congestion.

Keeping Ill Students Home
Please keep your child home if they are not feeling well. For more information regarding the School District of Reedsburg guidelines, please refer to our district website.

Beaver Speed and Strength RAHS Summer Classes | |

We will offer the Beaver Speed and Strength classes again this summer for Reedsburg Area High School students. Our focus will be on helping students improve their athletic performance, with an emphasis on form and technique.
We will offer two sessions. You may choose to register your child for one or both sessions. Session 1 will start on Monday, June 12, and end Thursday, June 29. Session 2 begins on Monday, July 10, and will end on Thursday, July 27.
The Beaver Speed & Strength class is for students entering 9th through 12th grades in the fall and will be held at Reedsburg Area High School. Classes will be four days per week, Monday through Thursday ONLY. There will be NO Friday classes.
Classes will be during the following times:
- 6:00-8:00 am
- 7:00-9:00 am
- 8:00-10:00 am
- 9:00-11:00 am
In Keeping with regular school practices, enrolled students are expected to be present. The RAHS office must be notified when students are going to be absent. Please call the high school attendance office at (608) 768-8928 Option 3, or Ext. 1101, or email rahsattendance@rsd.k12.wi.us.
Please note: This class is not for credit.

The School District of Reedsburg Food Market, The Den, is a FREE market that is available to all students, staff, and community members.
The Den is open during select hours on school days for students and Tuesdays from 3:30-5:30 p.m. for community members via drive-thru during the school year.
The Last Day of the Den Food Market is
Tuesday, June 6, 2023.

In partnership with the Department of Public Instruction, the School District of Reedsburg is offering FREE meals to children 18 and under throughout the summer. See below for locations, meals, and times available. All meals must be consumed on-site.
Reedsburg Area High School:
Breakfast Only is served from 8:45 a.m. - 10:15 a.m.
- June 12-30 (Monday - Thursday)
- July 3, 5-7 (Monday, Wednesday - Friday)
- July 10-27 (Monday - Thursday)
Pineview Elementary School:
Breakfast is served from 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
- July 17-August 3 (Monday - Thursday)
