Thanks For The Memories
It's May, wow!

Even with all of our weather-related days off, this year seems to have gone by rather quickly. This means the end is near for another group of seniors, who will be finishing their four year stay with us and moving on.

Congratulations, and good luck, to the class of 2019. On May 24th, they'll walk across the stage, receive a diploma, head out into the world beyond RAHS and begin the next phase of their life's journey. The gym will be packed and the grad parties will be awesome, enjoy the celebration!

We thank the Class of 2019 for all of the grand accomplishments and memories they have given us over the past four years, well done!

Standardized Testing:
  • College Board Advanced Placement (AP) Exams: Testing is May 6-17. If your child registered to take an exam, see our website, speak to the AP teacher, or contact Counseling Staff for more information.
  • Wisconsin Forward exam for social studies was administered to sophomores on April 25-26 during English classes. Absent students must complete make-up testing by May 3.
  • Aspire testing wrapped up in April for grades 9-10. Results are typically available in the summer and shared with families in district registration packets.
  • ACT & WorkKeys: If your junior didn’t receive a mailed ACT score report at home, contact Counseling Staff to obtain a photocopy. If your child wants to retake the ACT, see our website for registration information. WorkKeys score reports will be shared with students in early September in their senior packets.

Summer School: Applications are now being accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis for current 9-11 graders interested in Apex Learning summer school at RAHS. See our website or contact Counseling Staff for more information.

Class of 2019: Seniors have received monthly email updates and reminders about important matters to consider as graduation approaches. Information and assistance is also available from School Counseling Staff. See the Graduating Senior Reminders and website as well.
  • Senior Honors Night will take place on Wednesday, May 15 at 7 p.m. in the RAHS Commons. Seniors receiving local scholarships and/or honor cords will receive invitation letters at school a week prior to this special event.
  • Community Service Hours must be completed and documentation forms submitted to the RAHS Counseling Office by mid-May. Failure to complete this step will result in a student not participating in the commencement ceremony or receiving a diploma.
  • Final High School Transcripts will be uploaded to the Parchment e-transcript service for graduates in mid-June. Students beginning college or technical school this fall are encouraged to submit their transcript order requests by July 1. It is the student’s responsibility to complete this important step.
  • School Google & Skyward Access will be discontinued soon after graduation. Students should make plans now to save or transfer documents that they want to access later. Parents/Guardians also lose Skyward Family Access for graduates.

19-20 Schedules: School Counselors are finalizing next-year schedules for high school students. We anticipate that schedules will be available to view on Skyward Family Access in early June. Please check our website for updates.

The RAHS Counseling Office will be closed on Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day.
Please visit the RAHS Counseling website for more information or contact RAHS Counseling Staff with questions or concerns by calling (608) 768-8928 ext. 1158.
