In just a few days, I'm headed to Israel to visit my son, Max. My youngest son, Josh, will be coming with me. We're planning a visit to Tzfat, the artists quarter. It's a gorgeous place, up on a mountain, and I'm excited to interview artists and bring some art back with me. Last time I was in Israel I visited
Artist Udi Merioz, and may see him again as well.

Refined Master Bath
After remodeling their
lower level living room, our clients Shelly and Joel were ready to update their Master Bath.
Before, the layout wasn't working well, and the tub was taking up a lot of space. The couple envisioned something more functional, spa-like, with a light and airy feel.
With a new configuration, including a shower double in size, new flooring, cabinetry, fixtures and finishes, the new space is both luxurious and functional, well suited to the couple's lifestyle.

A native Minnesotan, Leon Zobel has drawn since he was a young child, and painted for over 30 years, admittedly becoming less and less structured.
"My art is abstract design, very bold texture, endless depth and expressive. To me, it is very spiritual."
Leon exhibits twice annually at his private studio and gallery in Edina, and shows his art by appointment.
In 2009, Leon was voted Artist of the Year by
Twin Cities TOSCA. He now resides and paints in Sarasota, Florida.
